We had a great time.

The trip itself was nice, the staff that managed the activities were flexible (we wanted to change some activities due to sickness which was possible). The food is average, okay for a day or 2 but certainly not something special. Communication was very bad though (for me). If my friend wouldn't have had connected with the organiser I think I would have never been able to book. I tried contacting through WhatsApp for many days, sending reminder, but they just wouldn't reply or they said they would reply later. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are sensitive to or against captivity of animals (elephants) you should not go, because this is widely normalised here.

After our safari experience in Africa, we naturally had expectations. This safari was different, but no less appealing for that. First of all, we can emphasize the contact and the handling of the 4 days / 3 nights tour through our agent in Thamel. Bharat from Breakfree Adventures made an incredible effort to organize the tour according to our expectations. Flight tickets at the last minute, help with all questions, plus personal and very pleasant contact incl. double shot coffies (:-. The flight with Buddha Air from Pokhara to Chitwan was a good alternative in my opinion. Our accommodation at the Parkland Hotel was very nice, breakfast and lunch/dinner as well as the service were excellent. We had 2 jeep safaris, we liked the shorter one better. Wonderful landscapes, surprising animal encounters. The river safari was very interesting, and so were the walks and bird watching. We didn't expect to see a tiger, but there were rhinos, elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer, pheasants, countless bird species and lots of information about the plants, animals and world of the locals. The bus ride towards Kathmandu was very slow due to road works and endless traffic jams, but we were lucky enough to meet a lovely Nepalese lady. We were lucky to have a lovely Nepalese family next to us, which made the 8-hour bus ride more pleasant.
