What an incredible trip this was. Watching the migration of multiple species of bird is one of the top wildlife experiences of my life. Nacho was a brilliant guide - knowledgeable, welcoming, informative and very easy to chat to for the day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a truly fantastic 3 days with Birding the Strait. Nacho our guide was professional, polite and great company. His knowledge of birds seems to know no bounds, we visited numerous different habitats and view points ensuring we maximised the number of species. Nacho also has a deep understanding of the regions rich history which only added to our enjoyment. We will definitely be booking with Birding the Strait again and we can highly recommend.

I had the privilege of spending two days birding with Birding the Strait at the end of May. The company came highly recommended by a Spanish birder I met during a birding trip to Winnipeg, Canada, and it more than lived up to that recommendation. Guided by Fernando, we birded primarily in the Cádiz and Tarifa areas. It was a wonderful experience, yielding more than 70 bird species, including several rarities. Fernando was not only an excellent guide with a remarkable ability to locate difficult-to-find birds, but he was also a pleasure to spend time with. I particularly enjoyed our conversations about the local environmental issues affecting birds and other wildlife in the region. This is our fifth trip out with birding the straits and our first with Fernando who maintains the excellent guiding tradition of our previous visits. Fernando was totally professional , knowledgeable, extremely enthusiastic and quick thinking and flexible when we requested some last minute changes in our itinerary due to our group's requirements. The bird sightings were fantastic and plentiful and we totally enjoyed every minute of our day with him. All our target birds were found and lots more. Thanks again 🤩
