The trip was outstanding. The best aspect was the quality of the routes which were excellent--everyone of them. Every hotel and restaurant was better than any I've experienced on any of the dozens of bike tours I've been on, except of course the one Brad ran in New Zealand last year, though I;d have to say the Pilgrimage was even better. The several guides were highly competent, attentive and one hello a lot of fun to ride with. No bike tour operator compares to Brad's competence, stamina and knowledge of the places he hosts trips.

I had a fantastic trip! This was my first bike tour, and my first time in Spain since childhood. Brad and his team delivered fantastic rides, memorable dining experiences, and lovely hotels in the town centers. Our group had numerous technical problems (as crazy as broken handlebars, and di2 battery gone bad) and they were able to keep everyone going, amazing! I really enjoyed myself and for sure plan to do more in the future!

We (my husband and I) recently completed the gravel cycling trip with Raid along the Camino Ignaciano in Spain, and it exceeded every expectation we had going in. From start to finish, the experience was thoughtfully designed, beautifully executed, and genuinely unforgettable. The route itself is something special. Each day delivered a new mix of terrain and scenery—rolling gravel, quiet backroads, and stunning landscapes that felt both remote and deeply connected to the region’s history. Following the Camino Ignaciano added an extra layer of meaning to the ride, with a sense of progression and purpose that went beyond just covering miles. It struck a perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment, making it ideal for anyone who wants both adventure and immersion. While the Camino may not smack you in the face all the time with spectacular views, it forces you to find the subtle beauty in things, as is the case in life. What truly set this trip apart, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about both cycling and the region. They handled all the logistics seamlessly, anticipated riders’ needs, and created an atmosphere that was both professional and relaxed. Whether it was route guidance, mechanical support, or just encouragement on a tough climb, they were always there at the right moment. The overall experience felt effortless in the best way. The accommodations were amazing and well-chosen, the food was consistently excellent, and the daily flow of the trip allowed for both strong riding and downtime to explore off the bike. It’s clear that a lot of care went into crafting every detail. This trip wasn’t just a great ride—it was a complete experience. If you’re looking for a gravel adventure that combines spectacular routes, top-tier support, and a deep sense of place, we can’t recommend this highly enough. This is our third trip with Raid and we can't wait for the next one! - Katheryn Curi and Joe Vasiliou
2026 SPAIN - GRAVEL PILGRIMAGE The Camino de Ignaciano
There are moments, after the vans are packed, the routes are ridden, and the long days finally come to an end, where a message like this reminds me us whe we do this. Katheryn’s words about the Camino Ignaciano captured something I hoped people might feel out there — that beyond the gravel, the mountains, and the distance, these journeys can quietly reconnect us to something deeper. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, spirit, and friendships that continue to grow through these rides. Thank you Katheryn & Joe. I truly cannot wait for the next road together.

A long and winding journey, mixed surfaces and weather, leading to the journey of discovery and awareness that a Camino engenders. Fantastic riding companions, stellar accommodation, terrific and plentiful food.

It’s been one of the most epic trips I have done in all the time traveling the world w/ different company , it was absolutely memorable, the places we visited , the safe route we went every day, and making us pushing hard out of our comfort zone . It was well organized without missing a detail from Brad and all the guys , stoping in a remarkable places to have lunch . Can’t thank you enough for such an amazing experience. See you next year and congratulations to the team and Brad that he shows so much passion for RAID and have so much care for what he does day by day,,,, gracias!!!
