Hi! My name is Bri McIntosh and I am a public health professional, a mom and a runner! My whole life I have been an athlete, playing basketball through my college years and dabbling in soccer, softball, tennis, horseback riding, swimming— you name it! I have always loved sports, being active and pushing boundaries with my body. As a plus-size woman (who was a plus-size kid), considering myself an athlete but not being accepted as one, has always been a challenge and point of frustration. Regardless of others perceptions of me, whether I walking onto the court for a game or crossing the finish line of my first half marathon, I knew that my body can do more than they think it can.
