Transform in Tulum was exactly the kind of retreat that lives up to its name. The retreat leader, Chikara, created a genuine sense of community from the moment we arrived, which made it easy to connect, settle in, and feel safe enough to try new things that stretched each of us beyond our usual comfort zones.
One of the most powerful experiences for me was the Temazcal ceremony. It asks you to sit with intention while navigating external challenges like heat, steam, and darkness. The work becomes holding your intention steady, staying present to what you’re cultivating internally while the environment around you intensifies. I appreciated this because it allowed for deeply personal challenges while still being held by a group container and guided by skilled, experienced facilitators.
If you’re looking for an experience that expands your sense of what’s possible, especially when it comes to pushing your own edges, creating space for new insight, and allowing fresh light in, this is the retreat.
Chikara was thoughtful, attentive, and consistently made sure we felt cared for. Every question was answered with clarity, and the logistics and transportation were seamless.
I left feeling grounded, stretched, and more connected to myself, and to a community of women who were all navigating their own transformations. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking intentional growth in a supportive, beautifully held environment.
