Exceptional 3-Day Private Wildlife Photography Tour of Yellowstone With Chris I recently had the pleasure of spending three days on a private wildlife photography tour of Yellowstone National Park with Chris, the owner and guide, and I cannot recommend his services highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, and I will certainly be booking Chris again for future wildlife tours and expeditions. Chris was incredibly attentive throughout the entire three days and went above and beyond to tailor the experience around exactly what I wanted to photograph, see, and experience within Yellowstone. Each day was thoughtfully planned around wildlife activity, conditions, and my personal interests, while still allowing the flexibility to adapt as opportunities arose. This level of personalisation made the tour feel genuinely private and bespoke rather than a standard wildlife excursion. One of Chris's greatest strengths is his extensive knowledge of Yellowstone and its wildlife. He demonstrated an impressive understanding of the behaviour, habitats, and movements of the animals throughout the park, which proved invaluable when looking for photographic opportunities. His knowledge allowed us to position ourselves intelligently and maximise our chances of getting close, photographable encounters while respecting the wildlife and the environment. From a technical photography and videography perspective, Chris is also exceptionally skilled. As a professional photographer myself, I went into the tour with a strong technical understanding of photography, but I still learned a tremendous amount from Chris. His experience, technical knowledge, and industry-leading portfolio from working with the BBC and other globally renowned companies are a testament to his ability as both a photographer and videographer. The advice and insight he provided throughout the tour were genuinely invaluable, and I came away having developed my own approach to wildlife photography further. Another aspect that made the experience particularly enjoyable was the level of care Chris provided outside of the actual tour itself. He very kindly picked me up from and dropped me back at my hotel in Gardiner, Montana each day, which made the entire experience extremely straightforward and convenient. There were no issues whatsoever while travelling with Chris, and everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Safety was clearly one of Chris's highest priorities, without ever compromising the enjoyment or photographic opportunities of the tour. This was particularly important during my visit, as I was in Yellowstone during the bison rut, when the animals can be considerably more aggressive and unpredictable. Chris demonstrated excellent judgement when dealing with both wildlife and traffic, ensuring that we maintained a safe and respectful distance while still getting into excellent photographic positions. His ability to balance safety, education, enjoyment, and photographic opportunity was particularly impressive. Overall, Chris provided an outstanding experience. His knowledge, professionalism, technical expertise, attentiveness, and genuine passion for wildlife photography made the three days in Yellowstone incredibly memorable. His pricing was also extremely fair considering the level of personal attention, planning, transportation, expertise, and tailored experience provided. I originally reached out to Christopher about a tour for my teenage daughter during our Yellowstone vacation to help foster her interest in photography. We ended up all tagging along and I’m so glad we did. Christopher is awesome! Prior to the trip he researched and recommended a rental lense for her camera. He even picked it up at FedEx and brought it with him the morning of the tour. During the tour he was flexible and accommodating toward all of us. His knowledge of photography and the wildlife we were seeing was incredible. During the ride Christopher conversed with my daughter to assess her current photography knowledge. He met her where she was and seemed to genuinely enjoy helping her to further her understanding and knowledge. Christopher ended up extending the tour day voluntarily just because there were some areas and things he really wanted us to see. He didn’t ask for or expect any additional money for the longer day, although I gave him extra because I was so appreciative. When he found out we really wanted to see a moose he even took us to a place where our chances to see one would be higher so that we could come back early the next morning. That ended up paying off for us with a sighting of a moose and twin babies the next day. I have only positive things to say about Christopher and our day spent with him. If you are at all interested in photographing Yellowstone wildlife or scenery look no further. I’m grateful to him for the great memories and pictures we have from that day.

We had an amazing night sky photography workshop in Acadia national Park in Maine! We learned a lot and had fun in the process! Christopher was knowledgeable and a patient and generous instructor. He also is very generous in providing photo editing one on one training following the workshop. If you are interested in learning, Astro photography from an experienced and personable professional, I would highly recommend Wildscape Adventure.

This workshop far exceeded my expectations. With ocean, lakes and mountains Acadia was a great site for finding landscapes to pair with the night sky. Christopher knew just where the great shots would be. He is a patient teacher who is a master of his craft. We worked on conventional night shots, panoramas, time lapses and sky trails. Christopher was very careful about teaching us nighttime etiquette and leaving no trace on the landscape. Bring your hiking boots as some of the terrain was rugged but with Christopher’s help in rough patches it all worked out well. I have not yet completed the one-on-one post processing coaching that will happen over the Discord app with a recorded video of the teaching session. I think that will be very helpful and I like that it will be tailored to me personally because everyone comes into this with different software expertise. I highly recommend this workshop!
