This is an epic tour! I booked the luxury yacht, which has double deck and it is very spacious. It was my son’s first snorkeling in open ocean and our guide and naturalist, Reeney (hope I spelled it correctly), is the best. He took very good care of my son during the snorkeling. Without him, I am not sure my son would be able to finish his first snorkeling. The best part of the tour is the 2.5 hour hiking on the remote Spanish island. We saw some any birds, including the endemic waves albatross, and famous Christmas marine iguanas (the only one that has red and greenish color in Galapagos). Although the hefty cost and total 9 hours brutal boat ride due to the choppy water, the trip is absolutely worth it! At the end of our trip, we even rescued 7 people in another tour group whose boat engine broke down. In addition, I missed the Check in for my next day’s tour because we came back town late, the travel agent allows me to keep my snorkel gears for the next day’s tour with another agent.

Grupo was a great company to work with, but specifically- Thalia was amazing!! She put all of our day trips together, kept in constant communication, and always responded back to all of my questions (of which there were many!) in a speedy manner. She was amazing and helped remove so much of the stress of planning this trip. Give her a promotion and a raise, Grupo! And if you’re thinking of taking a trip to the Galapagos - ask for Thalia!!

We had a wonderful time! They were great and help accommodate our needs. I would book through them again.

First of all I want to thank Jari for his excellent service before and after the excursion. He was a perfect tourguide and host. We really appreciated his kindness. And we cannot say anything bad about the organization of the tour. But we cannot give more than 2 stars because the tour is defenitely not worth the money. The ferry ride was terrible. Not only the sea sickness of other passengers but also the back pain you have especially if you already have problems with your back. And I know that the weather and sea conditions are not the tour operator's fault. But it is not worth the short four hours visit on Isabela. And except the penguins and the flamingos you can see and do the same things on Santa Cruz. There was no hike in the wetlands. We just stopped at a lagoon and that was it. The rest we spend on the bus, at lunch or at the breeding center. That was very sad because we booked the tour for 80% hiking and 20% snorkeling. It was no hiking and then the rest. You will not miss out if you save the money and stay in Puerto Ayora with the breeding center, the beaches and Las Grietas.

We had a wonderfully pleasant time on our trip. The guide and crew were exceptionally helpful especially to to those in our party with more restrictive needs. The sites chosen were well curated and guided. The equipment, including boat, was in good clean working order. The food was authentic and well delivered. The tour left and returned on time. I felt at ease communicating both with the crew and my fellow passengers. The atmosphere felt safe and inclusive. Of the snorkelling tours I took part in during my stay, this one felt special. I tipped the crew well, because they deserved it.
