Wow! What a week in a Morrocco. We covered so much history, culture and traveling. This tour was excellent and our guide and local guides were very knowledgeable. Our group was a great group to travel with. Our days were busy, but there was also enough down time. Delicious food options, clear directions each day for time/expectations etc. looking forward to another trip!

I have never been a fan of guided tours--too many in group, too much detail, annoying participants. This tour was far beyond my expectations! Perfect size group of varying ages, fantastic participants, perfect attention to all the details beginning with meeting us at the airport and getting our visas so we did not have to handle the unknown and language barrier. HTS designed the trip perfectly and had obtained the services of Hany who is a totally amazing tour guide. The breadth and depth of his knowledge about all things Egyptian history including his study of hieroglyphics was incredible. He hit the highlights on whatever we were viewing without boring us but could answer any question for those who wanted more depth. His amazing planning and management of the group got us to the sites ahead of the crowds and his experience gave us introduced us to some of the best shops for Egyptian products. It was so obvious that he dearly loves what he does and he made everyone his best friend!

Just WOW. What a trip! We had a fantastic time with Emily G. in Egypt. Everything was perfectly planned and timed out to allow for lots of sightseeing while still having some down time for rest. Our tour guide was amazing, getting us to major sites before crowds, making all transfers seamless, and providing great insights throughout the whole trip. Everyone there was such a pleasure to travel with. No notes. Will be booking my next trip soon!

My third trip with the Historical Travel Society to Egypt exceeded all my expectations. Emily G. was incredibly organized and communicative, anticipating every logistical detail before our departure. Our guide, Hany, was also amazing, providing us with extensive history and knowledge throughout the week. All transfers and tickets were handled seamlessly, ensuring the entire trip went smoothly. As always, our group meshed well, and I enjoyed seeing a group of strangers end the week as friends. I highly recommend traveling with HTS ("The Emilies")—two brilliant women sharing history one trip at a time.

This was my second trip with the Historical Travel Society. Emily is great trip leader and took care of everything. Our local guide, Hany, was amazing. My favorite part of doing a HTS trip with one or both of the Emilies is all the great people I meet. They have a way of attracting the coolest, smartest travelers that make the trip a real joy. They also take care of all the details that make the trip easy! I am used to doing a lot of solo travel, but HTS is a group that I will always join!
