Esnativa offered a great experience over 6 days around Cerro Catedral and the Frey hut. Their team had great vibes, was very knowledgeable of the area, and included the clients in decision making. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a fun and unique ski adventure that will help their skills improve.

Esnativa Patagonia Ski Tour August 23-30 The 6-day resort skiing trip with Esnativa, running August 23–30, 2026 was quite an enjoyable adventure. Esnativa includes: A mountain guide, who also acts as your chaperone and companion throughout the trip. Accommodations. Transportation to and from the resort from lodging and from resort to resort throughout Patagonia. What is not included: Lift tickets. Food (Argentinian hotels include breakfast at no charge). Transportation from the airport to the lodging. As a first-time traveler to Argentina, it was a smooth transition to check in to hotels, navigate the resorts along with travel throughout Patagonia. The assistance Esnativa provides in arranging the lodging accommodations and the outstanding guide, Gaspar is a perceived value. I had assumed for the price paid that lift tickets would be included, but they are not. On average single day lift tickets run $100 and credit cards are accepted. In addition, several of the resorts required a passport to purchase the lift ticket, which I did not bring with me skiing. I was also under the impression transportation to and from the airport in Bariloche would be included. Esnativa can arrange it for you, but it is an additional charge and averages around $60. Accommodations varied significantly. The first lodging was extremely rustic, and I would rate it as 2.5 out of 5. The second lodge was exceptional and the third slightly above average. The inclusion of breakfast did make it a nice way to start each morning. Last, the outline of the trip and discussions with Esnativa mention an initial group welcome dinner, of which there was none. Meals aside from breakfast are your responsibility. Despite those few missing pieces our group, with the leadership of our guide, connected very well and enjoyed the wonders of skiing in Patagonia.

Overall it was a great experience. Weather was raining and visibility was really bad at higher elevations, rained the entire week even at the base of the ski areas. We ventured to the higher elevation to catch the fresh wet snow. Accommodation- one was great, one was terrible and one was average. Drive to the mountain on average 30 minutes. Lift ticket wasn't included. Dinners not included except for the last evening- good food and nice culture. Our Ski guide was an amazing person and very caring. Transportation, reliable but don't expect a luxury van. Other Esnativea staffs were approachable, friendly and eager to help.

Esnativa Review: 6 Days of Resort Skiing, $4,250 USD I booked a 6-day resort skiing trip with Esnativa, running August 23–30, 2026, for $4,250 USD per person. Esnativa's website is unclear about what's actually included, so I'm laying out the details here. From Esnativa's website, under “What's Included”: The tour includes 7 nights of accommodation, daily expert guiding, lift passes for all ski days, ground transport between resorts, daily breakfast, and select dinners at local Patagonian restaurants. In reality, lift tickets are not included, ground transportation is a pickup truck (fine for the rough road conditions, not so comfortable for a group of grown men), and the “select dinners” are actually a $20 credit and a $25 credit. Food in Argentina is expensive. Esnativa will charge you either $60 or $80 for an airport shuttle from Bariloche to the hotel. A taxi costs around $30. Accommodations were mixed in quality. In Bariloche, we stayed at Casa Van Titter, a slight step up from a rustic hostel. In Villa La Angostura, we stayed at the Gluck, a modern apartment-style accommodation. In San Martín de los Andes, we stayed at the Patagonia Plaza — dated, but passable. Breakfast seems to be standard at hotels across Argentina anyway, so it's barely a selling point. Our guide, Gaspar Lamuniere, was the highlight of the trip. He's a fantastic skier with deep mountain knowledge, and something of a local legend — well connected in the region (see his part in “Sincero,” a ski movie on YouTube). He drove us around, hung out with us, and helped with everything from booking massages to placing complex restaurant orders. There was a general disorganization to the trip. Little things that could have made it a roaring success were missed. A clear itinerary, better organization, and upgraded hotels would have made this trip far better value. If Esnativa is trying to cater to North American skiers, these are the improvements that would create a better experience.
