We had a great time! All of the accommodations were all very nice and served a good breakfast. Can't say enough about how helpful Miguel was with the transportation in Peru. Carlos was an outstanding guide in Peru. He went above and beyond on tours ! Wilson was also an outstanding guide in Ecuador! The guides were very knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. Ecuatraveling helped us do a great itinerary for Peru and Ecuador that was customized to what our group wanted to do. It was nice to have a number to call in case of a problem.The tour operator stayed in contact periodically throughout the trip. They did a great job of scheduling all of the flights, train, bus , and cruise. We really appreciate all of the help planning this amazing trip !!

Amazing time exploring some of the Cuyabeno Reserve in the Amazon jungle! Waita lodge is a great place for a home base in the Amazon. It has basic cabins and the staff are friendly and make 3 delicious meals a day! Our guide Carlos was super knowledgeable and loves what he does and is passionate about helping educate people on how to better appreciate the land and take care of it so more people can enjoy it for generations to come! We saw all kinds of animals, including river dolphins, a plethora of birds, insects, snakes, amphibians and monkeys, and a sloth! Well worth a visit!

Listen up! If you want to have a great time in the cuyabeno reserve, don't hesitate to visit Waita Lodge. From the beginning til the end of our stay the team of Waita lodge took great care of us. Moreover, the guide has a immense amount of knowledge to answer every question and show you all the great things that can be discovered. Highly recommended!

We had a great time! I would give this trip 4 out of 5 stars! The crew was awesome! The ship was lovely. The rooms were mch larger and more nicely appointed than regular cruise ship rooms. The food was simple, but well prepared and always tasty. I wish there were a few more options, and some complimentary cocktails would have gone over really well with the 15 passengers on our trip. Soda was supposed to be free but diet coke was additional. Our naturalist was very knowledgable but not as sociable as the crew. Fernando the bar tender, and Brenda the housekeeper made our trip particularly comfortable. The itenerary was the perfect mix of land and sea. El Nino meant we didn't see quite as many animals as we migh have other years, but still fabulous. The al fresco dining was a highlight. The hot tubs on board were used frequently. Not even a complaint, but something to note- you will feel a lot more motion on this yacht than on a larger vessel or a catamaran. We expected rocking, but not quite as severe as we got a couple times. It didn't bother us but might be challenging for some. This is a trip I will remember in detail for years to come.
