Graham and Cheryl were fabulous, caring hosts and we really enjoyed our retreat at their beautiful property. The cooking was plentiful with new portuguese and south african dishes to learn and eat. The set-up is laid-back and sociable with plenty of opportunity to mix with other guests during cooking and eating and time to unwind in between. We enjoyed the slow pace and reading by the pool when not cooking. The trip to a stunning local vineyard was a highlight. Around the property there is birdlife to watch at your leisure and some lovely walks . I would recommend the retreat to others,. For those with little to no cooking skills you'll learn a lot, for more experienced cooks it's a time to pick up some new recipes.

Wonderful Location with warm and welcoming hosts, serving delicious food. Good yoga teacher and very kind and professional drawing teacher. Enough free hours for swimming in the lake, hiking or finishing paintings. Went for the second time and will surely come back again!

A truly wonderful experience! Very well organized and friendly hosts, super tasty foods, fantastic environment. I highly recommend the location and its lovely couple for the diversity of the activities they're running and for their pleasant way of treating guests! 🎉
