The view from Casavecchia was lovely. However, a few things were not as expected. I was not aware the food served at Casavecchia would be vegetarian (eg, lentils and rice were among the meals served). Apparently, this was in the small print. I think this should have been highlighted to the guests in a more upfront manner. There was no espresso coffee at the Villa - another disappointment, especially for Italy! Furthermore, Casavecchia was located too remotely to enable easy access to alternative food options. I should have looked at the location and read the fine print. The daily excursions were good, but I would have preferred an option to go out at night. Other guests seemed to enjoy themselves, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Next time, I will ask questions about the food and drink available and check the access to facilities around the location. Lesson learned.
