This group trip was one of the best we have taken, and we have taken many. The daily itineraries were perfectly planned, allowing plenty of time to get a good taste of each location. The tour guide for the daily excursions was phenomenal. Not only was he full of knowledge and very interesting, he was personable and he engaged well with the group members throughout the trip. Global Dream Travel put together all the pieces seamlessly and Adam, the owner, was top notch in every way on this trip. This was an exceptional opportunity! We so enjoyed seeing Blenheim Palace, having tea there, traveling through the scenic Cotswolds, visiting Bath, Avebury, Stonehenge, a boat ride on the Thames, dinner beside the river & much more. Six-day Lake District tour in England… Six-day Lake District tour in England through Global Dream Travel This trip was great!!!! It was well planned and included so many sites that we had long wanted to see. Adam clearly did a lot of planning and coordinating. The hotels were excellent, and the staff was welcoming and helpful at both locations; the breakfast each day was excellent. Our guide, Ruth, was excellent (a five-star tour guide) and well-versed in the history, geography, and culture of every area we visited. We had a smaller group, which made it easier to get to know others on the trip. We also had an excellent coach driver, Ethan, who safely navigated narrow thoroughfares and busy interstate roads. It’s difficult to pick out just one highlight, as every place we visited was great. I will always remember this trip as one of the best we’ve taken. Adam and Global Dream Travel went above and beyond in making sure our trip was fantastic. If you are planning a trip to England, we highly suggest booking one of their tours with Global Dream Travel! We had a fantastic trip to Northern England using Global Dream Travel. All of the details were taken care of from meeting our group as we arrived at the airport until we departed six days later. Our host Adam took care of all the details so we were able to fully enjoy our time on the trip. Our local guide, Ruth, is an expert in UK history so we learned so much about the past history of the area. Highlights included Hill Top, home of Beatrix Potter , and a steamer boat ride through the Ullswater Valley in the Lake District. We visited Hadrian's Wall, and the Roman Fort Vindolanda. We went to Alnwick Castle, Whitby, York, took a stream train ride, saw everything "Beatle" in Liverpool, and toured the famous John Ryland Library in Manchester. Hotels were very nice as they included a buffet breakfast every morning and also some dinners. I may have preferred having a hotel within a walkable village ( one was, although a fair distance away, and the other although close, on a busy highway type road) but since most meals were taken care of this really was not an issue. The included meals were quite tasty and we had the chance to make individual choices prior to beginning the trip. We had a good balance of group time versus time for individual exploration. Since I've returned home, the trip seems like a good dream, so the company name Global DREAM Travel makes perfect sense! I highly recommend this company!
