Very well organized trip to for Himalaya roundtrip

Die Flugroute an sich und die Organisation vorab sind gut. Allerdings ist danach alles nicht sehr organisiert. Nach der Abholung geht zum Flughafen und zum Warteraum um dort ein paar Sachen auszufüllen. Es ist alles sehr langsam und alle Flugzeuge nach Lukla sind bereits unterwegs, bevor man überhaupt am Gate ist. Danach hieß es für uns leider erstmal 1,5h warten ohne jegliche Info wann es denn losgeht. Danach sind wir mit dem Bus zum Heliport und haben dann dort weitere 3h sinnlos gewartet, weil ein paar Wolken am Flughafen waren und der Heli nicht fliegen wollte. Es sind 3 Helis reingekommen und einer abgeflogen (ein paar bereits vorher, die nicht 1,5h sinnlos warten mussten). Es war also durchaus ein Abflug möglich. Anfangs zeigte man uns noch im Warteraum die Webcams von Lukla und Everest Hotel und sagte uns: Beatiful weather and perfekt flight. Nach stundenlangem, sinnlosen warten im Bus am Heliport wurde der Flug dann abgesagt. Ein Heli der bei ein paar Wolken rund um den Flughafen (überall sonst war strahlend blauer Himmel) nicht fliegt, sollte solche Touren wohl nicht anbieten und zum Khala Pattar Viewpoint fliegen, wenn er mit ein paar Wolken bereits überforderr ist. Wir haben dann am nächsten Tag einfach einen Rundflug gebucht, da diese auch an unserem Heli Tag problemlos alle abgeflogen sind. Auch am Folgetag sind standen die Helis alle am Port, als unser Rundflug bereits beendet war. Ich kann die Agentur daher nicht empfehlen, auch wenn die Route sicherlich super ist. Die Chance das man fliegt scheint allerdings sehr gering.

Great organisation and excellent communication. Buddha guided me through the process, what to expect, detailed safety precautions and how to get the best out of the day. We late booked the day before but this was no problem and he gave me a number of options to consider. We chose flying to Everest and not landing nearby. Our itinerary was pick up from hotel at 5.15am to airport, quickly guided thru immigration and security and taken to helicopter. We then had a little wait due to weather on our route, but were soon on our way. 45 mins later we arrived at our refuelling airport - Lukla, buzzing and quite dramatic with its short runway. Then we were off to Everest. We had 5 people on the helicopter so had to make a stop near Everest base camp as they could only take 2/3 up at a time due to weight and Altitude. We weren't able to make the planned hotel stop due to the weather closing in so instead we stopped on the pass heading towards Everest. The flight had been quite hazy/cloudy all the way. But as we entered the pass it was beautiful blue sunshine. We dropped off 2 passengers and headed up. It was breathtaking, exhilarating and very exciting to see Everest appear. It was black peaked compared to the surrounding mountains. What a moment. Our pilot gave us a running commentary all the way. We then returned and swopped positions with our flight colleagues. We then enjoyed the vista of the pass for 15/20 mins - river and mountains! All in all it was an unforgettable experience, expensive but worth it if you're not hiking/ climbing it!! The whole crew involved were very friendly and engaging. Buddha in particular worked hard to make sure we had a brilliant and memorable time. Highly recommended.

This trip was a lifetime memory , the Holiday service team support was fantastic , all questions were promptly dealt with , everything went very well , timings , logistics and it's just awesome. Not cheap but unforgettable. I recommend it.
