Attending Root to Rise: A Spring Ayurvedic New Year Weekend with Ibeliz Guadalupe was truly a transformative experience—one that I’m still carrying with me in the most beautiful way.
From the very beginning, Ibeliz created a space that felt safe, intentional, and deeply affirming. Her presence is both grounding and uplifting, and it’s clear she is incredibly skilled in guiding practices that nourish the body, mind, and spirit. Every detail of the retreat felt thoughtfully curated, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves without distraction.
The balance of the weekend was something I deeply appreciated. There was just enough time to connect as a group—sharing, laughing, crying, and holding space for one another—while also having intentional moments to retreat inward, reflect, and ground individually. That rhythm made the experience feel both communal and personal in a way that’s rare to find.
The Ayurvedic meals were not only nourishing but absolutely delicious—each one prepared with care and aligned with the spirit of the retreat. The accommodations were equally impressive: gorgeous, spacious, clean, and, most importantly, safe. It truly felt like a sanctuary.
Some of my favorite moments included the visualization meditation and vision boarding session. They allowed me to tap into my creativity, set intentions for the new season, and connect with my future self in a tangible way. It was both fun and deeply meaningful.
What made this experience so special, though, was the energy of the space. We laughed, we cried, we manifested, we cried again. We hugged, we shared, we were vulnerable—and through it all, we felt supported and protected. That kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident; it’s a reflection of Ibeliz’s care, intention, and heart.
If you are looking for a retreat that offers not just rest, but renewal—one that meets you exactly where you are while gently guiding you forward—this is it. I would return again and again.
