The tour is fast-paced but allows plenty of time to explore your own interests. Our guide, Irmante, had so many varied suggestions and options of things to do and places to see in each location along with amazing recommendations for restaurants, bars, coffee shops and local foods to try. I enjoyed having well placed hotels chosen and booked for me without having to do a lot of research, along with having transportation arranged. The van was comfortable and we were able to travel to locations and sites that I wouldn’t have done on my own on a solo trip. We had a good mix of city stays with time away from the capitals. You do not have to be with the group the whole time which is great for those of us who enjoy solo travel and prefer to move at our own pace. But by far the best part is being able to travel with Irmante. What a perfect tour guide! I love her knowledge and enthusiasm for travel and the places we visited. She has an unstoppable curiosity that leads to expertise about history, culture, the arts, and so much more. She is genuine and kind and made sure we were all comfortable and taken care of. Most of our group had already traveled with her on at least one other tour and will look to travel with her again! That says a lot. The trip was great! Irmante is a fabulous, organized, knowledgeable professional tour guide who crafted an all encompassing tour of the Baltics. We were introduced to a variety of sights that ranged from cities to a farm stay. All details were covered, including lodging, transportation, and endless recommendations. Baltics + Finland Tour - June 2026: This is my 3rd tour with Irmante Sungailaite, the best tour guide ever; she's organized, informative, warm, fun, and so much more. We visited Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. (Irmante is from Lithuania, so has a deeper connection to these countries). One highlight from the trip was experiencing mid-summer solstice night in Riga, Latvia. Other highlights - visiting the capitals of each country, but also visiting more remote places such as the Curonian spit in Lithuania and Saaremaa island in Estonia.
