We had a wonderful time on both the Gatun Lake boat tour and the Boquete walking tour. Christian, the owner, led a relaxing boat excursion where we saw abundant wildlife and watched ships preparing to transit the Panama Canal — truly memorable. Ricardo guided us on an exceptional hike through the cloud forest, and we were incredibly lucky to spot three quetzals, which made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for thoughtful, well-guided nature tours in Panama.

We had a wonderful experience!! Our guides were very knowledgeable and which enhanced our experiences. The canal trip was amazing! The coffee tour was great. The food and lodging was wonderful. Our transport driver when above and beyond to help us with our transportation needs. We would highly recommend booking with this company.

They are so easy to work with and are quick to respond to a variety of concerns or questions. Before leaving for our trip we were confident in their planning and while in Panama they proved over and over again that they are excellent in what they do. In Panama City they assigned one designated Driver who proved to be reliable, friendly, and over and above helpful. The depth of knowledge our Guide has made our experience memorable, he told of the country, the city, the landmarks, the people, the history, and personal stories- it was a once in a lifetime experience. For our Boquete visit a different Driver/Guide was assigned to us and they were extremely aware of our safety while driving or exploring. As our Guide they were tireless in explaining so many different subjects, always ready to answer our questions. We found it special when they shared personal activities like a strawberry stand and a coffee cafe. We will recommend Isthmain Adventures Panama again and again.

The night tour with Isthmian Adventures was quite extraordinary. Alex our guide was particularly amazing. He was so passionate and knowledgeable about what he did (25 years of experience, born and raised in the forest as he put it). To start, we were facing unusual traffic due to the holidays and he was nimble in finding ways of getting us to the right place before the sunset so we could see the Panamanian Night Monkeys, who would jump off and go off to their business as soon as the sun went down. It was a success. For the rest of the night, he spotted so many animals for us and showed us ways of spotting them ourselves. He was also happy to answer questions about Panama, its history, why and how things ended up this way (e.g. the forest and its current state has to do with the way that the US managed it for building the canal). On practical matters, we didn’t get much detail when we booked online. The tour contacted us two days before the date, and coordinated pickup. Everything was on the dot and well-organized. All in all, very happy with them and will definitely take other experiences with them.

Absolutely fantastic trip, I cannot recommend Isthmian Adventures enough! My guide (Christian) was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tell stories in an educational and engaging way. I learnt a lot, both about the animals we saw and Panama as a country and culture, and I loved how the trip was tailored to my interests.
