Japan was Extraordinary! Beautiful sights, Gorgeous hotel accommodations and super kind and accommodating host!! I loved visiting all 3 cities! I had a terrible experience with Air Canada unfortunately. Initial flight was completely changed less than 24 hours before the trip. We had to re-do finding seats & putting in travel documents info in a very short time frame. Then unfortunately, our connecting flight from Canada was cancelled. We were initially rebooked for 2 days later. It was a nightmare. There were a couple of planning mistakes during the trip (we were charged twice the cost by Viator for Team Planets tickets, then paid the venue again directly when we adjusted our time.) I’m attempting to dispute the initial charge as we speak. And our Soul Food reservation was almost mistaken for the wrong day. Thankfully we made it and enjoyed the restaurant! The other thing that was tough, was taking 3 flights back to back on the first travel day. That was very taxing. Overall Janelle is Awesome and I would travel with her again. I just wondered if there were too many moving parts which may have led to the near misses.

I had a great time in Japan. I would offer a few recommendations. The wait time at the arrival airport was too long. I would rather had taken the bullet train, which is not much longer, to get to Osaka. This would cut down on the wait time. I would also recommend the host doing a brief guide or tour of the transportation system to make it easier for guests to get around on free days. Make sure guests know how much of the trip is guided by the host. Give ample notice for tour recommendations for the following day and not the morning of. Recommend the same food choices in the city that you use. I would prefer traveling with a larger group for various reasons. My experience would’ve been better if the group had more people to explore options with. Thank you Unique Does Travel for planning a great destination trip otherwise.

We had a wonderful time. Janelle was very accommodating and helpful. She was very accessible and proactive. The accommodations were great as was the location. The flights were long. I should have checked and changed initially. Howevet, Janelle did all she could to adjust times and work with the airlines on my behalf. We will use them again.

This trip was one for the books! We had a ball even though I missed a day due to no fault of our travel agent. The breakfast and lunch on the resort was great but dinner not so much. It was lit from sun up to sun up!!

We had a great time. The food was delicious. Travel agent was very responsive. The beaches and weather was perfect
