This was one of the best experiences ever. The instruction was innovative, interesting and extremely useful, as well as being enormous fun with a truly great group of people. Rushey is a very special place: comfortable and peaceful in the rolling hills of Dorset, close to beautiful beaches and bustle of the nearby sea-side town, Lyme Regis. It’s a perfect place for fossil hunting, walking, writing and just being. Jason and Kate are the most welcoming hosts. Each meal was a feast for all senses. The writing retreat was instructive, inspirational, transformational and such fun. We laughed so much, learned so much, became part of a writing community and all together, had unforgettable time. On the last morning, we were entertained by three baby dears playing in the garden. I cannot wait to go back to Rushey.

Jason and his co-tutor, Jeremy Seal were excellent, constructive, kind and patient . We had the happiest of weeks in comfortable accommodation, delicious food and all in fabulous Dorset scenery. Loads of laughter and can't wait for the next time to be spent at Rushay.
