About Me

Julie’s invigorating Vinyasa Flow classes are designed to help students increase their flexibility, strength, and mind/body connection. She takes a holistic approach to her teachings, often integrating aromatherapy, pranyama, and an uplifting soundtrack. Julie completed her 200 hour teacher training with Kim Mandfredi at Charm City Yoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Last fall she led a retreat in Arizona, which was attended by 14 yogis and yoginis. She's thrilled to embark on three upcoming retreats in Deep Creek, Maryland (July 2017), Napa Valley (August 2017) and Tulum, Mexico (February 2018). Was a wonderful experience - people were so nice. Our leaders/ yoga instructors were wonderful - they thought of everything.

Julie and Jess planned and hosted a fabulous get-away. Two yoga classes per day, access to a world class spa and a lovely NOCAL town within minutes on foot ... that's a slice of paradise to me. To top it all, I got to know a group of wonderful women!

It was a wonderful experience. Great people, fun activities, awesome yoga, and nice accommodations.
This was a fabulous trip! The resort cottages are adorable and nicely appointed with refrigerators and nice living space. Location is perfect. Julie and Jess are professionals, very generous and very fun!

I had an amazing time with a group of fantastic women! The meals were great and the time away was priceless! Julie, Ally and Duffy, thank you so much for putting this retreat together. It was definitely needed by all of us! I hope this becomes an annual event!
Julie was fabulous for organizing this event! All I had to do was show up. The accommodations were just as I expected, the activities were planned so that I could choose to stay busy or be on my own. It was a very relaxing weekend with 18 other women. I would highly recommend going on any trip with Julie in the future. It was first class all the way and lots and lots of fun!!

I went on Julie's yoga retreat in Arizona and it was wonderful! Each day we practiced at different locations through out the resort which provided different perspectives in practice. We also explored different types of yoga flow as well as meditation. I loved experiencing new and different variations! Each class was made in such a way to be friendly to all levels of experience. The entire itinerary was thoroughly thought through and provided a well rounded rejuvenation! There was also plenty of time to relax with available pool, spa and activity services offered by the resort. A great combo for a getaway! And perhaps the best part was the people. What a lovely group to experience this retreat with! I would highly recommend any yoga retreat that Julie organizes! You will not be disappointed!

I attended a yoga retreat Julie co-led last fall entitled Arizona to Zen. It was an amazing getaway with a truly special group of people. We enjoyed yoga, meditation or other group activities twice a day, but we also had plenty of time on our own for the pool, spa, general relaxation and rejuvenation. Each day's itinerary was carefully thought out and very well organized. Julie did a great job of making the yoga classes appeal to all levels from beginner to advanced. The resort was wonderful, and I would absolutely trust Julie to pick an amazing spot once again. I found the entire experience to be extremely relaxing, rewarding and well worth the time away from work and home. I will certainly attend the next retreat!
