The Yoga of Chocolate retreat was a life-changing experience. The thoughtful and meticulous planning on Jyl's part was apparent before I even arrived. She incorporated a balance of activity and rest, and each activity brought tremendous value to my personal/spiritual life and yoga practice. Our guides were engaging, genuine, wise, highly in tune with the surrounding country. I can't imagine visiting Peru without doing so through this retreat. The Yoga of Chocolate opened my eyes and provided a well-rounded array of quality opportunities to connect with the culture, the people, the plants, the food and the landscapes of Peru.
What can i say? A life changing experience. Jyl is a wonderful host, organizer, yoga teacher, choclate oficionado, human. Each day with Jyl, and the The Yoga Of Chocolate participants were filled with just the right amount of activity, free time, delicious nourshing beautifuly presented food, and adventure. The facility was beautifuly landscaped, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, and rooms. The Staff were attentive and responsive to every need and desire, really! I casually asked for fire starter so i could lite the fireplaces in the morning...I am an early riser. The next morning, each fireplace was laid out with firestarter, wood, and a box of matches on the hearth. Everyday after that, the fire was raging by 5:15, when i arrived in the common area. Each activity Jyl had arranged came with amazing adventure, knowledegable guides, drop dead views of Peru, and just plain fun. Jyl has really good instincts and has used this to plan the adventures she offers. Though we had no issues while in Peru I know thru Jyl's natural ability for cool headedness, clarity, focus and kindness, Jyl would handle it with professionlism, love and respect for all. Im skeptical of group travel, but after experiencing TYOC with Jyl, I'd go to the ends of the earth with her, and the group she was leading.

This was an amazing experience in the most beautiful place. Jyl and Adriane had very different yoga styles, but it was a beautiful balance and I believe we all had a deep long lasting connection with one another. The food was amazing and the outings were always an adventure. Thank you for this experience and I honor you both for the wisdom and Love that you hold.
Adriane & Jyl were amazing! Such a great week of personal expansion. The retreat center was beautiful, and the food was fresh and delicious!
