Today, Jonah is a well traveled ashtanga/vinyasa teacher whose classes are both graceful and intense. Impermanence, compassion and humility are just a few of the elements that Jonah seamlessly weaves through each healing practice.
This was an absolute life changing experience. I only knew of Jonah from social media and was looking to level up my teaching and practice and this was nothing like I could’ve imagined and EVERYTHING I needed.
I took Jonah and become a yogi’s 300 YTT in Koh Samuin Thailand and it changed my life.
We started the day in meditation followed by a 7 doorways flow, each day was something completely different which fed my soul. The nourishment included throughout the entire stay was fresh and super healthy, even with snacks like fresh coconuts.
We had the opportunity to learn anatomy and philosophy from only the best instructors who were generous in sharing their knowledge and answering all curiosities.
The property is filled with hidden gems including about 4 yoga shalas in which we each had the chance to teach our very own flow.
The entire experience was very well thought out and executed.
Giving time and attention to the asana practice and weaving in gems along the way.
The daily meditation practiced helped me drop all hesitation behind the practice of noticing and I can now meditate more easily.
We had the pleasure of learning from several other amazing teachers, the program was co led by Kierstie Payge whose fiery energy added the best element. Renae Malone also played a vital part of this training with softness and grounding energy.
The forever community that was created between our entire group is a bond that is indescribable. This experience is forever engrained in my heart.
Jonah Kest is one of the most humble and magical humans I’ve ever met.
Forever grateful for this experience and to call him my teacher.
I had the best time on Jonah Kest's *Art of Vinyasa 20 Hour Training* February 2025 in beautiful Miami. I am grateful to have had the honor to participate in such a joyous yoga experience. I appreciated the variety of events Jonah offered such as: lots of time to flow together as one community and learn from each other. We also got to take a cold plunge and as a community, we meditated and practiced diaphragmatic breath work at the top of a cool hotel in perfect weather. We got to move beyond fears and share collectively this vibrational energy we all generated together. May the light in all of us keep shining.
Jonah Kest’s 20-hour Become a Yogi Retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. His teaching style blends wisdom, authenticity, and humor, creating an experience that feels both challenging and accessible.
Jonah’s incredible creativity in guiding posture transitions kept each practice fresh and inspiring, while his attention to creating a sacred space added a powerful layer of intention to the retreat. Every detail felt purposeful, leaving me deeply connected to my practice and grateful for the experience.
If you’re looking to elevate your yoga journey, I highly recommend this retreat — it’s an unforgettable experience with a truly gifted teacher.
Thank you, Jonah, for an inspiring and transformative weekend!
I had the pleasure of taking Jonah’s 20-Hour Art of Vinyasa Training in Miami.
I didn’t realize how much I needed this training. I was feeling a bit stagnate in my teaching and in my practice and it felt like a creative reset-like someone lit a spark that had been dimmed by staying in my comfort zone. I came back to my own practice and teaching with a renewed sense of purpose, fresh inspiration, and a deeper love for yoga.
Jonah’s approach is unique and powerful. He has a way of breaking things down that makes you see Vinyasa in a whole new light—blending strong, intentional sequencing with a freedom that encourages creativity. His style is refreshing, informative, and pushes you to think outside the box while still honoring the roots of the practice.
The only thing I would have loved more of is the spiritual side or more integration of yoga philosophy. But overall this training was exactly what I needed. If you ever get the chance to learn from Jonah, do it. You’ll leave feeling re-energized, inspired, and more connected to your practice than ever.🧘♀️
Choosing to travel with Jonah is one of the best travel choices I have made. He is genuine, down-to-earth, and makes you feel at ease no matter where you are. His retreats and yoga teacher trainings are world-class. He carefully plans each experience to make it one you will never forget. He is also magnet for the most incredible people; you are sure to also walk away with relationships you'll treasure for life. You cannot go wrong by attending one of his events.
