Kimberly Rothwell is a dance/movement therapist and artist living in the pacific northwest. As she has worked in the counseling field for the past twenty years, Authentic Movement has been an ongoing source of healing and recuperation, as well as a teacher of embodied epistemology and relational grounding. The meditation practice of authentic movement allows for a gentle ushering into self awareness, resonance with other and embodied language. Kim is a founder and owner of the Embodied Education Institute of Chicago, and the host of The Return to Embodiment, a podcast that is a love song to the ordinary, the poetic, the implicit world of the body itself as a place of knowing and movement as our very first language.
