I had a great time with my sister and fellow travelers. I struggled with the very long flight and too much walking. Would have preferred less stops and longer at most - felt we were very rushed- could have skipped Capri - many felt that way - very crowded, very expensive. However, most enjoyed our private mass times, great food, seeing beautiful churches, Giovanni, good wine and appreciated options and the fun, faith filled group we traveled with! Also really enjoyed the Pompei ruins - great guide! Thank you for all the organizing that was done!

We had a great time. We had never been on a pilgrimage before and didn’t know exactly what to expect. I thought there would be more time in some of the cathedrals and basilicas to just look around. One day in Rome I think there was too much walking between sites

The trip and sites were amazing, but Kingdom Tours was Less than adequate. I felt like they promoted the tour, took our money and set up the flights. After that we didn’t feel their presence at all. After having our initial flight cancelled we never heard from them. The airline company sent up another flight but no one from the tour company helped up, even when we missed our connecting flight. After figuring out what we were further booked on TAP (only because we saw flights to Lisbon posted on the board at Rome) we finally got to Lisbon the next night and no luggage. Kingdom Tours never helped us with any of these problems. Once in Lisbon there was no one there to get us to our hotel in Fatima. I’ve never been on an our that didn’t have someone there to get us, to keep track of it’s people. To me it should have been the responsibility of the tour company to make sure all our masses were set up. Instead Father had to do this (some he was unable to do) and we also were unable to get into the museum at Lourdes because it wasn’t set up. Again I sincerely feel that Kingdom Tours did not follow through with the things that a person expects from a responsible tour company. While I would like to go on future pilgrimages I will never do another with Kingdom Tours.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that parts of your travel experience were frustrating. We do want to clarify a few important facts. Kingdom Tours does not control airport lines, airline delays, cancellations, aircraft changes, or immigration/customs wait times. These realities were explained to the group several times before and during travel. When we learned on Saturday evening that Lufthansa had changed the airfare/flight arrangements, our team remained in constant communication with the group and spent more than 18 hours on Saturday and Sunday working to keep everyone together on the same flight. Unfortunately, Lufthansa had already reassigned travelers, and the airline did not allow us to reverse those changes. As a result of the airline cancellations and schedule changes, the group arrived in three separate groups, with more than seven hours between some arrival times. The tour guide and driver waited as long as reasonably possible at the airport, but after such an extended delay, they had to depart with the travelers who had already arrived. For those arriving later, instructions were provided in the group chat to take an Uber or taxi to the hotel and keep receipts so they could submit them to travel insurance, which we had recommended to all travelers. These communications are documented in the group chat. We always work hard to support our pilgrims, especially when airline disruptions occur outside our control. We regret the inconvenience, but we respectfully disagree with any description that does not reflect the documented facts of what occurred.

My pilgrimage with Father Sagar was very enriching. The itinerary was very nearly ideal. However, I am dissatisfied with Kingdom Tours' management. Our main guide/leader was a gentleman named Ignatzi. I found him to be a wonderful and accomplished manager. However, he was hired somewhat "last minute" and was not given a brief on what this pilgrimage required. He did his very best to meet our needs/wants/requirements, but because he was not fully informed, there were some last minute gaps that needed addressing. Issues that easily could have been prevented had Kingdom Tours actually sent a brief to him in advance. Granted, some of the issues that occurred were outside of Kingdom Tours' control, but their response to these issues left MUCH to be desired. Flight cancellations by our overseas carrier were handled by the tour company, but delays with new flights left a small group of us without any input from the tour company and stranded for many hours in a European airport with no help or explanation of what we needed to do to continue to our final destination. Once we arrived (exceptionally late and without any luggage) their advice was to "get an Uber" to take us to our hotel...a very long and expensive trip! We were never met by anyone to help arrange our rescue, which made me suspect that the company basically cut us loose! Yes, they offered to reimburse our trip to the hotel (which cost me personally over 200 Euros!), but nobody was there to help us. Many of the local guides that were provided in Spain, France, and Portugal were excellent...but were given briefs that were different than those provided to our main guide Ignatzi and different still from the information provided to our group leader Fr. Sagar. Overall I loved the opportunity to learn more about the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary and her appearances to children in Iberia, but was underwhelmed by the tour company's willingness and/or ability to help solve problems that should have been taken care of easily. I would not recommend this company to future travelers, nor will I ever book a tour with them again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly glad to hear that your pilgrimage with Fr. Sagar was spiritually enriching and that you found the itinerary meaningful—that is always our primary goal. At the same time, we would like to clarify several important points to ensure an accurate understanding of what occurred. First, regarding the guide: Ignatzi is an experienced and highly regarded guide we have worked with, and we are pleased that you recognized his professionalism. Like many pilgrimages, adjustments sometimes need to be made in real time, especially when external factors affect the schedule. Despite those circumstances, he worked diligently to serve the group to the best of his ability. Regarding the flight disruptions: these were caused by airline cancellations and schedule changes that were entirely outside of our control. As soon as we became aware of the situation on Saturday evening, our team remained in constant communication with the group and spent more than 18 hours over the weekend working to keep everyone together and rebooked as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, Lufthansa had already reassigned passengers, and we were not permitted by the airline to make further changes. Due to these airline changes, the group was split into three separate arrival times, with a difference of more than seven hours between them. The tour guide and driver remained at the airport as long as reasonably possible, but after extended delays, they had to depart with the travelers who had already arrived in order to maintain the rest of the itinerary. For those arriving later, clear instructions were provided through the group communication channel to take an Uber or taxi to the hotel and retain receipts for reimbursement through travel insurance, which had been strongly recommended to all participants. All of these communications are documented. We understand that delays, missed connections, and lost luggage are frustrating experiences, and we genuinely regret the inconvenience caused. However, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that there was a lack of support. Our team remained actively engaged throughout the situation, within the limits of what the airline allowed. Please review the group chat carefully. We appreciate your kind words about the spiritual experience and local guides, and we wish you continued blessings on your faith journey.

I do not recommend using Kingdom Tours. They had our money for a year-and provided zero communication during that time. We received a charge for an additional $600 weeks before the trip with no explanation or communication as to why. (This bill was the only time they communicated before the trip without our prompting) We had no WiFi on the bus for half the trip (it was to be provided with our package). Customer service and communication was poor at best. We ended up Uber ing to our first destination on our own ($125) else Awad said we had to wait 5-10 hours at the airport for the rest of the group who were delayed in two separate flights. The destinations were great-Kingdom Tours, not so much.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to provide some context regarding the challenges surrounding this particular tour. Due to a significantly lower number of participants than originally anticipated, adjustments to pricing and certain arrangements became necessary in order to operate the pilgrimage at all. Our primary goal was to ensure that the trip could still take place and provide a meaningful and beautiful experience for all pilgrims, rather than canceling it altogether. We also sincerely apologize for any gaps in communication. During the months leading up to the trip, there was considerable uncertainty regarding whether the tour would proceed, and while we did communicate that the status was still under review, we understand that more consistent updates would have been helpful and reassuring. Regarding the additional charge, this was directly tied to the operational changes required due to the reduced group size. We regret that this was not explained more clearly at the time. We are also sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during the trip, including the WiFi disruption and the airport transfer situation. While some circumstances during travel can unfortunately be beyond our control, we fully recognize the impact they have on your experience. These are not the standards we strive for, and your feedback is being taken seriously as we work to improve our coordination and communication moving forward. We are grateful that you still found the destinations meaningful, and we truly regret that aspects of the organization detracted from your overall experience. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and we will use it to better serve our future pilgrims. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.
