It was a fantastic time, lovely location, great people, lots of laughter and exceptional food, exceeded expectations!

This was a the best knitting retreat I’ve ever attended. I like the small size of the group, the workshops were excellent, and the food was fantastic. I did not like the room we were in, very noisy and the seating was uncomfortable. The setting was beautiful. I am very interested in attending future retreats organized by Knit Social.

The place was lovely but cabins far away- the lights were very bright and difficult to sleep- more of a buffet style for food would have been better- glorious location

First, I'd like to say that I would do another Knit Social Retreat. Everybody was so lovely and enjoyable to be around. The workshops were interesting, if a bit above my head; I did learn many things. The island and retreat location were unbeatable! Galiano is a truly special place. The Bodega staff were second to none and the food was the best I've ever had. I am deeply grateful my many food allergies could be accommodated with such talent. My only complaints are that the dim lighting and the hard, dining room chairs as the only seating options did not support my need for a space to sit and knit. Also, the dining space had nothing to absorb sound so it was very difficult for me to hear or have conversations at a natural level during meals. I did feel inspired and got right back to my next project as soon as I got home! :-) Thanks for the raffle gifts!!! Kindly, Beth

The workshops were great. Lots of information, esp the sheep breeds etc information. The food was very tasty and it seemed that a lot of accommodation was given to those with special diets. The downside was the lighting in the meeting or sleeping rooms. It wasnt conducive to knitting in the dining room area at night. I look forward to next years retreat. Paige
