We had an amazing tour with our guide Mar. She guided us along the trail through the patch of secondary forest. The trail is well maintained and doesn't require any equipment. Although the forest is only 10 years old it already is home to an amazing variety of animals and plants including 2 and 3 toed sloths, kaimans, bats, frogs and armadillos. Mar really added to experience by telling interesting facts and story's about all the animals. There was no question she couldn't answer. After the tour we learned how to form Costa Rican tortillas and had a little snack eating our own tortillas. Vegan options were available for us. Summed up it was a very good experience worth the money!

We had a great time. We could see a lot of animals and David gave us information about them. If I ever travel to La Fortuna again, I will repeat!

Our guide, Mar, was a delight...well-informed, personable and funny. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to see sloths and several other animals. The location was beautiful, easy to traverse, and delivered a lot of sightings. Really enjoyed the sugar cane juice squeeze and tortilla making at the end of the tour. Do it!

We had a wonderful time on this tour and saw lots of wildlife (both sloth types, poson dart frog, blue jean frog plus a number of orher wildlife). The guide was warm and knowledgeable and the tortilla making and snack at the end was an added bonus. Would recommend this tour.

Mar was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable, especially with frogs. We could tell that she has a passion for nocturnal wildlife. Would recommend to anyone interested in a nocturnal nature walk in La Fortuna
