Leah is an amazing teacher! Realistic and down to earth! I did the full 3 weeks and couldn't be happier that I did! Real people doing real people yoga. Easy to disconnect from the world and focus on things that really matter. The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff at the resort were some of the best I've seen since pre-covid. They haven't forgotten what hospitality means here. I will definitely be signing up for one of Leah's courses in the future!

Leah is an amazing teacher. She creates a truly special learning environment for her students. I was nervous about committing to a yoga teacher training because of cost and time away from work/home, but it ended up being such a valuable experience and I am so happy that I did it. Her training taught us to be mindful, thoughtful, adaptive teachers and I am confident that I can lead yoga classes and that I've deepened my practice. Thank you, Leah!

Thank you so much Leah for a transformative and inspiring experience. Montezuma is a stunning place to complete the 200hr YTT. The accommodation was great, with healthy and refreshing food served throughout the day. I especially enjoyed the fresh juice and fruits at meal times. The nature and quiet yoga shalas made the experience so peaceful. I met beautiful people who I will stay in contact with. I also loved how there was down time to hang out by the pool, and I had a day to explore Tortuga Island and watch the sunset at Santa Teresa. Montezuma beach and waterfall was also lovely! 🌞🌴 Leah goes above and beyond in her teaching style and taught many inspiring and moving sequences. I particularly liked how Leah made the course so accessible. I completed the first half of the course online and then completed the second half in person. The learning made such complex and expansive topics easy to digest and reflect on at a personal level. She would always encourage us to create a yoga practice that is true for each of us and reflect our own style and personality. I feel so good after the course and will continue to commit to my daily practice and put all of the amazing philosophy, sequencing, meditation and pranayama techniques I learnt to good use! Thanks so much Leah 🤍

10/10 would recommend! Leah is the best teacher. She is super inclusive, patient, kind and helpful. She created such a safe space for us both in trying new poses as in asking all our questions. She loves yoga and you can tell by all her knowledge and experience. The course is amazing and Aves is as well! The Shala is the most beautiful ever in the middle of the jungle with the view over the ocean. It is such a magical place for such a transformational experience. I really like how Leah structured the training with lots of practice and knowledge. You gain teaching experience almost from the start which is super nice as well!! If you're in doubt, I would really recommend Leah!!! I am super happy I made this decision :)

I booked a retreat with Leah at the last minute, as I was already in the Greek islands where it was being run. Leah was very accommodating and supportive from the start, answering questions, ensuring my arrival was easy, and informing me of what the retreat entailed. • Arrival: When I arrived at the port, I met some other students; everyone was open. When we arrived at the retreat, we were welcomed by a warm and caring instructor (Leah). From the start, it became apparent that the other students had been to other retreats with Leah, and they all spoke highly of the events and the teachings. • Accommodation: The views from my room were amazing, the facilities offered were 5-star, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, and the food was excellent; I could not fault any of it. It was a truly comfortable and well-cared-for environment. • The retreat: The content was diverse and engaging, and Leah's support was unwavering. I learned and grew in ways I hadn't anticipated, which was a truly inspiring and motivating experience. • Other participants: Five of the twelve students (41%) had completed the 200 YTT, and all wanted to attend Leah’s retreat. People had flown in from around the world to participate. That is a good advocation for the space Leah creates and the respect Leah has gained within a global community. The whole group bonded and had interesting stories to tell, and I’m sure everyone's paths will cross somewhere in the future. • The Teacher: It's hard to describe the knowledge, support, and space Leah provides for her students. Leah was always around to answer questions, and it was not unusual to sit for hours after breakfast, talking about yoga, life, and any topic people wanted to address Summary: If you are looking for a yoga retreat with warm kindness and want to expand your yoga practice, I highly recommend connecting with Leah and finding out when and where the next retreat is being held.
