Our family of 4 went on a 10 day safari with Lendimi African Safaris, and it was an incredible experience. The booking process and pre-trip communication was very efficient and helpful to prepare us for our adventure in Tanzania. And our guide "Ima", Emmanuel, was amazing! Ima's cheer and positive approach to each day of the trip ( "don't worry be happy!") kept us laughing and having fun for 10 days, and Ima's knowledge of the animals, birds, trees and everything else natural is very impressive. We traveled with Lendimi Safaris through Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and up into the Serengeti National Park and Lake Natron. Our Guides, PJ and Ima, were fantastic! They were knowledgable of the area and various tribes, incredible at spotting game from a distance and set up opportunities to meet with local tribes and learn more about their lifestyle and customs. They met our every request promptly. The Lendimi operation set up very comfortable lodges and tent camps for our stays and managed every aspect of the planning. In addition to the Safari drives, we also had a day on the Shira Plateau below Mount Kilimanjaro. It was a unique opportunity to experience hiking at altitude and visit one of the camps for the Kilimanjaro climb. Lendimi is a family operation with local guides, but I would rank it with the top guide companies in the area for this part of Tanzania.

We had a fabulous time. It was a very nice mixture of cultural days and safari days. Accommodations were great, the food very good and we loved our main guide PJ. We added it on time and Uganda to see the mountain gorillas. It was well worth it.
