Long time yoga enthusiast since high school days. Active Pilates practice and meditation regularly. I am also a White Belt certified NIA (dance, martial arts and mindfulness) instructor. Yoga has contributed to my recovery from knee replacement and other injuries and compliments my wellness journey. Deepak Chopra and significant other scientific research suggest yoga, movement, and pranayama or breathe, as essential pillars to our wellness and longevity.
In expanding my knowledge and practice, I became certified through Wendy Marshall at Mind Body Heart Yoga. As a teacher and guide, I hope to assist in the transformation of others with a focus on post injury recovery and reaching beyond physical and mental limitations. I conduct annual local and international retreats with an emphasis on daily yoga practice, mindfulness, connections, creativity, and adventure.
