Liz is a running coach, trainer, and freelance writer based in the Bay Area, California. She coaches at the high school, collegiate, and adult level. You can find her at Whole Athlete and Ran Marin as a running coach, an instructor with MoveWith teaching Train from the Trails: Trail Running and Strength Training for Runners, and leading The North Face Mountain Athletics Training program in San Francisco. Liz is also the Head Coach of the College of Marin Track and Field Team and a freelance writer.
Liz has worked as a backpacking guide in Central America, Sea Kayaking Guide in the Bay Area, and managed an Adapted Paddling Program for individuals with mobility impairments. She spent 3 summers leading international high altitude running and service learning trips for high school/college students in East Africa and Peru.
She holds a MS in Kinesiology, USATF Level 1 Running Coach, Wilderness First Aid, Sports First Aid, and CPR certifications. www.elizabethcgill.com.
