Machu Travel made our Peru trip easy and effortless even with multiple disruptions due to country wide political protests. Sol did an excellent job providing our initial itinerary and communicated with is daily throughout the trip. All of our drivers (especially Will) and guides were professional and always on time. Kevin was our guide for Cusco, Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley, and was highly knowledgeable providing awesome history lessons to enhance our experience. As protesting ramped up to create closures to air and travel plans, Sol did an excellent job adjusting our itinerary on the fly to ensure we never lost a day of our vacation. As protest heated up towards the end of our trip, Sol worked overtime to find us new lodging and air transportation as hotels and airports were being forced to close. We were extremely lucky with our timing for the trip, and had been given the option by Machu Travel to delay it, but in retrospect, I wouldn’t recommend traveling to Peru until the unrest settles down. I also wouldn’t recommend trying to arrange your own travel to Peru. It can be complicated and unreliable. Machu Travel would be the only agency we would use for our next trip to Peru.

My friends and I had an amazing trip to Peru thanks to Machu Travel Peru! The tour guides each day spoke great English, were very educational about the sites we toured and also went above and beyond to provide us with anything else we needed throughout the trip! We felt supported by all team members of Machu Travel Peru during our entire trip. They were 100% accommodating to anything we needed outside of the scheduled agenda. Their customer service is unmatched from the sales team, to our onsite contact, tour guides, and drivers. We are a family of 4, kids are 10 and 11 y-old. We had an amazing time in Peru. Machu travels were fantastic : guides with a lot of local knowledge and interesting facts, punctual drivers and great choice of hotels. A completely stress free trip, they were a great support for us! We would strongly advise to choose Peru as a family travel destination - beautiful people & amazing culture 👍
