Mandy was great! She is extremely competent and energetic. I think we found all but two of our target birds! It turns out that Mandy is also a foodie. We ate out in restaurants three meals a day. She did a great job of picking restaurants and allowed us to order whatever we wanted. It was by far the best food experience I've had on a bird tour. Mandy is much more than just a tour guide. She is deeply involved in preserving the endemic birds in Hawaii. She gave us a lot of background information about their status and the efforts to save them. We lucked out and got perfect weather. The tour could not have been better!

I booked this trip with high expectations and it exceeded my expectations. Mandy located every possible endemic species on Oahu, Kauai and the Big Island. The trip’s logistics were obviously meticulously planned and were high quality. Mandy knows is passionate about the wildlife in Hawaii and also makes it a point to support local merchants. Mandy also offers day trips and I hope to return in the future. I highly recommend this tour!

Overall a fantastic birding trip. Everything from the birding to the restaurants to the hotels was fantastic. It was pretty obvious Mandy put a great deal of time and effort to make this the best possible experience. She’s an exceptional birder and guide. She’s very friendly and went way out of her way to make sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend Mandy!
