The tour was better than I could have ever expected! I came as a solo female traveler but I didn’t feel alone once. The 6 days reserve zone tour was made so special by our guide Cleber who helped everything run smoothly (including waking me up when my alarm didn’t wake me up!) without him I would’ve missed so many animals and I definitely wouldn’t have had the same experience. We also grouped together for a few days with the 7 day tour and Silver guiding them. Having both Cleber and Silver we were missing no animals!! The food was also incredible I can’t believe the meals we were being served on the boat. Every meal was different and so tasty. I couldn’t reccomend this tour enough.

We had great 7 days in Manu National park. William is an excellent spotter: very motived, skilled and with hugh knowledge about wildlife. Additinally, he speaks very good englisch.

We did the 6 day Manu tour. Honestly, it was such a wonderful experience that I will hold dear in my heart for ever. Silver, our guide, was exceptional. He was so knowledgeable, an unbelievable spotter, super organised, kind and funny. Our bus drivers Julio and Guido were very skilled. The chef Annis was amazing. The food was delicious and abundant. Don’t expect Michelin star food when it is being prepared in the jungle and on the boat! But you can expect to be satiated and happy! The assistant Remi was so helpful and worked so hard. The accommodations were as you would expect in the remote jungle. We were very comfortable however and very safe. The days are long and busy but so interesting and so much to see. We saw so many varieties of birds, insects and monkeys. We were so thrilled to find giant otters and capybara! The jungle walks (day and night) were awesome. We also visited a natural volcanic hot spring for a wonderful soak. Light weight long sleeved shirt/tshirts are a must. Also the colour of clothes is important. Nothing too bright as you don’t want to scare away the animals. They supply long gumboots which are essential. I recommend hiking shoes/ boots rather than running shoes. Binoculars can be hired and they provide dry bags for your clothes. A small day pack is required and a refillable drink bottle. Honestly, I loved this tour.

We had a very good experience with the 7-day Manu Explorers trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and did a great job throughout the tour. The vegetarian food was tasty and well prepared, and the accommodations were comfortable and good. The pace of the trip was also well balanced, with enough time to enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed. Overall, we really enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend Manu Explorers.
