Turks and Caicos Liveaboard (sold out)

Another amazing trip arranged by Matt and Sheila of Dive Travel Services!  Turks and Caicos was fabulous and the Turks And Caicos Explorer II and her crew were great!
Matt and Sheila provide detailed descriptions and information so you are always know what is going on, how to get where you’re going, etc.  And the fun is never ending!

This group is simply the best. The diving was fantastic, the staff incredibly attentive, and a great time was had by all. It’s a comfortable, welcoming environment to meet new dive buddies, surrounded by genuinely quality people.

What a great time, the staff was amazing, resort was beautiful and food was amazing.  

We had never been to Fiji before so the entire experience was phenomenal!! The hotel was fabulous and the staff so very gracious! Diving was our main objective and it did NOT disappoint!! Accommodations were made for me that were respectful and so appreciated!! The captains and crew were informative and very helpful! Food and drinks were great!! I’d 100% return!!

Dive Travel Services first trip to Honduras was in May of 2025. It was very upscale. Honduras is more known for it's budget trips, this trip is not that - it is high end air conditioned dining in a budget market. It makes for a great value in a dive trip. Of, course, the diving is some of the best in the Caribbean.

The trip is priced based on the accommodation style you want. Then you add diving package - 20, 12, or 6. Snorkeling package with dolphin encounter also available. Matt and Sheila be doing the 20 dive package which includes the night dives. The 12 dive package is $552 and the 20 dive package is $897. (now 50% off!)

Roatan Honduras – Anthony Key Resort 2026

There is one left and it is a male share room.Key Superior Rooms all have balconies, thought they may be shared with 1 or 2 other rooms. They all have ocean views. Book 2 if you are a couple, if you are staying in one of these by yourself choose single occupancy add on.

Make the room type you booked single occupancy. This is required if you aren't booking as two people. If you want help finding a roommate, we can do that, just let us know via email.

There is one of this spaces left in female shared room. The Key Deluxe rooms are the highest level of single room accommodation at the resort, they all have private balconies and ocean views. If you want one of these rooms to yourself, then just order one and add the single occupancy add on during check out.

This is the dive package that most will get. The extra activities as the resort are built around this package. It is 3 dives and day and 2 night dives (night dive in Roatan are spectacular).

6 dive package

Up to 2 snorkel trips a day. One night snorkel. Includes the Dolphin Encounter activity. Great for non divers that want to stay active.. Pays for itself with 2 snorkeling trips and the Dolphin Encounter.

So I am adding these rooms May 2nd 2026. I didn't get them on special so they are same price as the Key Superior, but still a few hundred less that Deluxe.What's the difference? Primary that they are on the restaurant and dive shop side of the resort and not on the Key. So to meet us at the pool you'll need to take the 1 minute boat ride. Bonus, you are a bit closer to the hillside sports bar where we all famously crushed the Karaoke under the leadership of Conard last year. These rooms can have 6 bunks, but we are doing double Occ and using a King Bed and one bunk bed for storage. Point here is that is that 3+ is possible. Email me if you want that.

That is up to us.&nbsp; Probably 2-3 days.&nbsp; It is usually reef dives in the morning and following the pods in the afternoon.&nbsp; We will get close to the whales on small boats and roll off the side to spend time in the water with a snorkel and camera.&nbsp; When the whales move on, repeat.&nbsp; We will probably do this all afternoon.&nbsp; The big boat will be nearby, so keep going or quit when you want.&nbsp; Sometimes, an evening reef dive.&nbsp; The whale aggregations are not particularly close to either Raja Ampat or Ambon, and we are definitely doing some diving at each of those places, so that leaves the middle of the trip.&nbsp; I imagine how much time we spend with the whales will depend on our encounters on the first couple of days trying.&nbsp;There will be a cetacean expert on board.

How many days will we snorkel w/ whales?

Sorong, or airport code SOQ is where you will want to be to get onto the boat. There are flights from both Jakarta (CGK) and Bali (DPS). The town of Sorong doesn't have much going for it. &nbsp;That being said I will probably be celebrating my (Matt's) 57th birthday at the Swiss Bell Hotel on , on Oct 3rd. &nbsp;The next morning we will do a crack of dawn birding tour to see if we can see the bird of paradise, but even if we don't it quick like to be a successful outing &nbsp;- there is a lot of diversity in birds there. &nbsp;Just let me know if you are interested in joining us. Just FYI I usually have a strong opinion that you should get there a day or 2 in advance, but it is less important with this boat. &nbsp;If you miss a departure you can hire a speed boat to catch you up with the liveaboard, at a cost of $100-$500 depending on how far we get away from port. &nbsp;Point is, if you late, you don't miss the trip. &nbsp; We get off the boat in Ambon, airport code AMQ on Oct 16th. &nbsp;Sheila and I get right back on on the 19th to do the trip in reverse, and in between we will be staying at Spice Island Divers. &nbsp;If you tack on a few days you can probably mingle with the other group of dive friends that are coming in to do the trip the other direction. &nbsp;Ambon is a destination in of itself, so if you want us to set up a package with them for you, again, just let us know. &nbsp; Domestic flights: &nbsp;these are a real headache to set up online. &nbsp;I suggest you just let us point you to a domestic agent and you can work directly with them. &nbsp;Agung Wiraputra has done this for our past couple of Indonesia trips, he is happy to help. &nbsp;Email: agung@baliagungsolusi.com &nbsp;He is based in Indonesia and works with our booking agent in the US on a regular basis. &nbsp;

Raja Ampat, Ambon, and Snorkel with Whales Expedition

Ambon (AMQ) is the airport you will fly to to get onto the boat. There are flights from Jakarta (CGK), then use a local agent to get to AMQ. We will be boarding the boat on the 19th of October. &nbsp;You are probably coming a long why with the potential for flight delays and missed connections. &nbsp;Maybe arrive a couple of days early. &nbsp;The first trip (which Matt and Sheila are on) drops off in Ambon on the 16th of October, so we'll already be there. &nbsp;There is a local dive operator, and Ambon is known for diving as a stand alone destination, so if you do get in early you can get a few pre trip dives in. &nbsp;Let us know if you want to help us book you in. &nbsp; If you do miss the boat, don't panic and not fly to Ambon. &nbsp;The chances are that the local crew can help you hire a speed boat and get caught up to the liveaboard, we dive in the area for two days. &nbsp; The trip drops off in the town of Sorong (airport code SOQ). &nbsp;Sorong doesn't have much going for it. &nbsp;That being said I we will have done a bird watching tour from there before the first trip, so if you want to stick around a day for that it might be worth it.&nbsp;Just let me know if you are interested in that. &nbsp;If you want a hotel in Sorong Swiss Bel is a good bet. &nbsp; Domestic flights: &nbsp;these are a real headache to set up online. &nbsp;I suggest you just let us point you to a domestic agent and you can work directly with them. &nbsp;Agung Wiraputra has done this for our past couple of Indonesia trips, he is happy to help. &nbsp;Email: agung@baliagungsolusi.com &nbsp;He is based in Indonesia and works with our booking agent in the US on a regular basis. &nbsp;
