Meagan did yoga here and there throughout her life, but it wasn't until her last year of college that she found a dedicated practice. After graduating from film school and taking on a grueling and emotionally draining job in Hollywood, yoga became her release. Meagan found deep effects not only in her body but mostly her mind and she wanted to dig deeper into the practice. Eventually, yoga gave Meagan the courage to quit her job with the goal of traveling the world with just a backpack. She went to Nicaragua to complete her 200 hour vinyasa yoga teacher training with Bodhi Yoga Academy. Since then she hasn't looked back and has also never been happier! She is currently continuing her yoga education at Mira Costa College in their 300 hour program and believes that she will always be a student of yoga. Her teaching is rooted in the Ashtanga lineage of yoga but keeps the energy playful, curious and often upside-down. She never takes herself too seriously and encourages her students to laugh at themselves too. Meagan will push you to your edge and then bring you back to center gently.
Meagan also enjoys being outside in nature, rock climbing, surfing, photography and spending time with her friends and family.
