The Lochs & Glens of West Scotland Photography Workshop was the first one I attended, and I'm confident it won't be my last. Michael, assisted by Joe and Scott, provided outstanding guidance and support, focusing on specific areas I wanted to improve in landscape photography: composition, exposure, and contrast using manual camera settings. We explored some truly beautiful locations throughout West Scotland and even ventured into Glen Coe in the Highlands. The unexpectedly good weather in early March allowed us to enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets over Loch Fyne. Everyone in the group was friendly and eager to share their knowledge, and our evenings together were lively and full of fun thanks to the banter among the leaders. I am grateful to Michael and all participants for making this trip memorable, and I look forward to sharing and viewing the best images at the upcoming workshop review meeting. If you're considering joining a workshop with Michael Cartwright, don't hesitate—the trips fill up quickly and are highly recommended.
