We had a fantastic time trekking the Manaslu circuit over 10 days. Anjan was extremely accommodating and responsive when booking the trip - he met us the day before in Kathmandu to discuss details. The trek was fantastic - the route meant we had a range of scenery from forests, to valleys and of course mountains with minimal time on roads. During the shorter days, there were options to see additional sites, such as lakes, monasteries and Manaslu base camp. The tea huts were great - warm social areas and private bedrooms (with option to shower at lower altitudes). As expected, less amenities at higher altitudes. Our guide, Suraj, and porter, Jeeba, were the main reason our trip was so special. Suraj looked after us very well, ensuring we had drinks, food and sufficient blankets (especially when I was ill). He was very knowledgeable of each area, telling us about local customs, religions, food and nature. Above all, he was a very kind and personable man and we were lucky to have him - even if he did beat us at cards in the evenings! Jeeba was a great partner, and he looked after us and our big bag very well. Overall, I would highly recommend Nepal High Trek, and specifically Suraj and Jeeba!

Done this trip in October 2024, autumn, it was spectacular.

I got Ghandruk Village* added to this trek for an extra fee. Therefore, it lasted 4 days instead of three. The success and pleasant memories are mainly due to the blessings of the 'weather gods' and thanks to my friendly guide, Surpa TAMANG, (Shurpa), who took good care of me on and off the trek. He had patience when I was climbing, especially steep steps. This particular trek, my very first one in Nepal, was a great success thanks to the combination of my good health, experience, friendly guide, Surpa, and also the beautiful weather. The accommodations were basic. The food was good (full board). I also got what the company promised and what I paid for all four days. *I experienced repeated e-mails of payment reminders from WeTravel on behalf of the organisation to whom I had paid on time the required amount in full already, as a disturbance and nuisance. It is still not resolved!
