Our guide, Ivan was so extremely knowledgeable about everywhere we went, and patient with us.

Mount Athos and Northern Greece were pretty impressive. I came back home feeling myself a different person. The hotels and their food were great. The group itself was pretty different than the first one in Israel. Basically it was split in different subgroups: the Lebanese guys, professional fighters, Michael, father Jonathan, Ivan. Sometimes all of them did their own thing separately, sometimes no one knew were our guide Ivan is and what we are going to do next. But strangely enough no one was afraid of being lost, except me. Luckily most of the time Ivan was reachable via WhatsApp connection. But I think it's good to create next time a group's WhatsApp with the guide supervising it, so that no one will be lost. Fr. Ilya Israel trip was an amazing experience. The meals and transportation were great. I really enjoyed the expertise of the guides.

Everything worked smoothly, Fr. Ilya pivoted when the weather was not cooperating with our original plans. The accommodations were very good. The food, service, and local tour guides were excellent. I happened to be injured during our tour, and everything possible was done to insure that I was well-cared for, safe, and that I felt to be part of the group and not a burden. Excellent buses, competent drivers, and Fr. Ilya was a fountain of information. This tour is an incredible experience. This was a life changing experience.
