We spent many months corresponding with Andres, even did a zoom call to make sure everything was in order for our ADVENTURE to Atacama Desert at the end of our cruise in Valparaiso. Miriam and her driver Luis spent most of the day with us showing us around in Valpo and Vina Del Mar, before driving us to Santiago and our hotel. We did make a stop at the historical Artisan Village "Pueblo Los Dominicos" Miriam and Luis took us the following day to the airport in Santiago so we could fly to Calama, where we were met by Andrea. She picked us, luggage and all, and took us to San Pedro de Atacama, where we would stay for next 3 nights 4 days. On the road to San Pedro, Andrea furnished with info about area, mountains, terrain and even the guanacos we stopped to photograph. That afternoon, after checking into our hotel (arranged by Andres, we set out to tour the "The Moon Valley" and later traveled through the "Valle de la Muerte" death valley. That was followed by stop to watch the sunset as it set behind series of mountains and reflecting back on the major Andean Mountains. The next day Andrea drove us in her personal vehicle to visit the Atacama Salt Flats, Altiplano Lagoons Miscanti and Meniques .. We also visited the Red Rocks Salar.Before returning to our hotel we had a fabulous lunch, including typical dishes of the Atacama Region. The last full day and night were the most exciting and rewarding for us. Up by 5am to drive to the Tatio Geysers located at about 14,206 feet and later to the Puritama Hot Springs (11,220feet) for a time to swim and relax in the warm waters(90 F) before returning to San Pedro. We stopped in a small village and utilized their covered "picnic" area. Andrea had prepared a FANTASTIC lunch for us, so much so that we ate very little that night for dinner. About 9pm Andrea collected us from our hotel and took us out into "country" for an AMAZING evening of star gazing. Words cannot express the MILKY WAY that we were able to see. What an OUTSTANDING evening to end our 5 week adventure, of which Andres help us with the last 5 days. Cannot say more about the excellent job Andres had in putting our ADVENTURE together. When we come back to Chile to visit the Lake District, Andres will be the person we trust to putting together another exciting ADVENTURE

Andres took us on a streamlined tour that took into account things we had already seen and done and the downpour that surrounded us for much of the day. Andres grew up in the area and is very knowledgeable about the culture, geography and history that he shared with us to make it a most memorable trip. We have already planned to return to Patagonia.

We spent a day and a half touring with Andres. On the first half day, Andres met us at the airport, helped us get checked in at our hotel in Puerto Varas, and then took us on a driving tour along the lake to the charming town of Frutillar. For the full day, we visited the amazing volcano, beautiful waterfalls, many scenic overlooks, parks, and viewpoints. Andres did not hesitate to add to or modify our activities as needed. We felt very well cared for, our itinerary was tailored to accommodate mobility limitations and preferences, and we greatly appreciated the personal guiding and adjustable pace. He educated us on history, the intricacies of required voting - which was happening that day - and many other interesting facts. He was also very helpful to suggest where to dine and other activities for our own time. We would not hesitate to book with Andres again.
