A magical experience in the jungle with our amazing guide, Jorge! His knowledge and enthusiasm was phenomenal and truly made it such an enjoyable adventure! We were very well looked after by the whole team at the lodge. Every meal was delicious. Muchas gracias!

Lots of interesting stops on the tour, allowing us to see Macchu Picchu at a good pace within a tour-hour ticket slot, and including lunch one day. We met the company the day before who explained the itinierary and were friendly and easy to contact throughout. For the price we felt a bit more co-ordination between parts of the tour (the providers are outsourced, not one tour host throughout the process) would make it feel more professional for the price paid. For instance: the company kept in contact as I mentioned, but on the first morning, we were collected by operators speaking Spanish who did not fully explain or welcome us (it was a bilingual guide but at 6am in the morning it would be nice to have this explained straight away instead of 20minutes into the drive). Once at Aguascalientes we only found out last minute when to expect to meet our tour guide for the following day, having been expecting to meet them at the train station. On the second day returning to Cusco, our driver did not have seat belts for a 2-hour journey. Maybe that's how costs are kept down for tourists, but small things like this added up to make it feel less organised than it could have been.

My son and I wanted to experience the Peruvian Amazon and were lucky to have booked this trip! The tour was a great mix of remoteness and wild beauty and just enough convenience to make it very pleasant for first time jungle travelers. I will start with the guide, Jorge, who I think may be the best tour guide I have ever had. This is not hyperbole. He was with us all 3 days / 2 nights from the first moment of pickup to the last dropoff. His English was very good and his service on the excursions and even during meals was impeccable. But what was really amazing was his knowledge and candor. I learned a ton from our excursions, from the history of Amazon indigenous people to medicinal plants to the wildlife and how the Amazon has changed in the past 50 years. He was not afraid to speak truth about the challenges facing indigenous people, which I really appreciated understanding. He was understanding when my son was struggling to adjust to the climate and long travel to Iquitos. All around awesome. I felt I way underpaid for the tour for the quality of guide! The activities were well planned, but flexible. I enjoyed the market tour, the boat ride to the lodge (with interesting stops) and a jungle hike on the first day. The highlight for my son and I was the piranha fishing. We did that two of the days (thanks for the flexibility) and though the fish weren’t big, the activity was fun! The lodge was an interesting mix of remote/rustic and modern. We had our own bungalow of sorts, with a private toilet and shower. The water comes from the river, so can’t drink, but was clean enough to wash with. The food was freshly cooked for each meal and a good mix of protein and vegetables. The lodge ran a generator in the evening for light and power, which allowed for recharging devices. Last of all, I was shocked to see the lodge had internet (when the electricity was running), because they had Starlink satellite internet. Overall, I was elated with the tour, especially relative to what the cost of the tour was. Everyone was nice and professional. I will say that we had excellent weather, so take that into account. I would recommend.

This trip was a great way to access the Amazon jungle. The tour guide, Jorge, was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time tracking birds, insects and animals for us. He passed on lots of information about the jungle, the people, medicinal plants, etc. The accommodations and meals at the lodge were fairly simple, but that was what we expected for the price. One suggestion is to limit the generator run time as we would have preferred to listen to the sounds of the jungle.

We had the best experience in peru. magnificent views, wonderfull people, great guide. I love all except the second accomodation, that need better organization and clean. But still the best experiencie . Sr. Pedro always on the lookout
