The trip went very well. Our guide, Peter, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and personable. The students loved him and he seemed to get a kick out of the kids. Each day was a new experience and it kept the students engaged. I do wish I had a little bit better of an outline of the day, ie timing of everything and name and address to the place we were visiting especially the restaurants. Accommodations were clean and with-in walking distance to many places. Breakfast was made easy! There was a great mix of structure and open time to pivot the plan when occasions arose.

Excellent retreat. The accessibility and patience of the instructors as well as the focus on networking and leveraging our connections was a real bonus, to the already stellar format of field visits, classroom time, and time to practice. Honestly, I wouldn't change much except to get box fans in the rooms. Fantastic experience!

It was a fantastic experience. You get a much richer picture of Roman history than a trip to Rome alone would provide. The rhetoric exercises also strengthen the group feeling and ensure that the group as a whole develops strongly.
