Highly recommend, 10 out of 10. Rekinect was an experience of a lifetime. Hands down the best trip of my life. I arrived with an open heart and mind, ready to take it all in and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Monique, Gemma and Lizzy Jeff curated a luxurious, spiritual oasis where we were catered too, allowed to be our authentic selves and affirmed constantly. The level of thought put into every detail from the welcome gifts, tent arrangements, playlist, workshops, journal prompts, etc was awe inspiring. We bonded, we laughed, we cried, turned up, we encouraged and held space for each other. I felt so safe and supported by all of the beautiful melanated women I met on this retreat. The connections I made mean so much to me, we are sisters for life. I was able to gain new perspectives, tapped into my inner Goddess and acquired tools to continue my healing journey at home. Don’t sleep on the Rekinect experience, Monique will not disappoint. If offered again, I would definitely return.

This retreat was everything I didn't know I needed. The food was amazing. The sisterhood was unmatched. And I am still applying some of the nuggets I left with in my everyday life. I have felt a sense of renewal and vitality that I haven't felt in years and I am excited for what's to come. So sad this is their last because I was definitely ready to come time and time again.

First and foremost, I would like to extend special thanks to Nurse Monique Doughty, RN. Her immaculate execution of this retreat spoke volumes about her attention to detail and the love that she has for her work, and the lives she touches on every retreat. I have followed Nurse Mo for some time and have seen her growth and shine to her highest vibration in life. But I never thought in a million years that I will be meeting such a beautiful and humble soul, she is truly a rare gem. Her transparency was what led me to finally take the time I needed for myself and book this retreat. And I'm forever grateful that I did. This retreat changed my entire existence. The hospitality was outstanding, and let's not even get started on the food and drinks. I have been to a few places around the world and by far this is on top of my list. Every activity, which was optional, was a wonderful experience and carefully executed. My personal favorites were her Yoga class, the waterfall hike, and the chocolate ceremony. The most important factor in all of this is that you can either participate in the group or choose to do your own thing. No one was held against their own will to stay or do anything they did not feel comfortable doing. You either had a choice to heal on your own journey or join the group whenever, or do both. I felt completely free to run wild and do as I please. Lastly, I will like to thank Gemma and Lizzy for working so synergistically with Nurse Mo. They make an amazing powerhouse team and all played a crucial role in my healing and changed my life for the better. To the entire staff at Rekinect, thank you. You all executed with excellency. I also met some amazing women from around the country that I will forever cherish and hold dear to my heart. Because of this retreat, I left costa rica with my soul field with love, positive energy, clarity, and the right mindset to finally live the life I was born to live and deserve.
