Hi! I'm Renee and I've been on the yoga path for....... 20+ years! I'd have to say my biggest yoga lesson has been learning to be present for the full experience of life; joy, pain, contentment, frustration, boredom, passion- you name it! And the second biggest lesson is that mindfulness and the other principles of yoga are a daily practice. Yoga is really a way of moving through life more awake & aware, more present, and more at ease.
As for credentials, I'm a certified E-RYT 200 yoga teacher, trained in hatha, vinyasa, restorative & prenatal yoga. I also have a degree in counseling which has been so essential to helping me understand how to infuse yoga off the mat in daily life.
I LOVE sharing the gifts of yoga because this practice has been ESSENTIAL to my own wellbeing. I truly hope this practice helps you as much as it helps me.
Oh yeah, and I'm also a mom, love to dance & be outdoors, and live with my hubby & beautiful daughter in sunny San Diego, California.
