My trip to the Galapagos was a once in a lifetime ‘bucket-list’ adventure, which was completely fulfilled by Gabriela! This has been the most amazing vacation of my life. I have never experienced a travel agency, nor a travel advisor like Gabriela. When I contacted Responsible Vacations, Gabriela reached out to me immediately and before she ever started planning my trip, she took the time to get to know me, and what I wanted in a vacation. Afterwards, she built two itineraries based on our conversations, and I selected one. Reading through both, I realized that she understood exactly who I was, and what I wanted to see, and experience in this vacation. The trip itself, exceeded anything I could imagine. I explored and saw more than I could have possibly imagined and had the best vacation I have ever had in my 56 years of living. It was as if Gabriela knew me personally and built a trip that was just for me. This trip fulfilled everything I could ask for in a vacation and more. Additionally, I was taken cared of at every moment needed. From the moment I landed in Ecuador to be picked up from the airport to every drop off and pick up point from ferries to hotels, and rides, I was always met with the most courteous, knowledgeable people. The conservation guides were genuine and incredibly experienced. Hotels had my rooms ready in advance, and the food and accommodations were authentic and extremely comfortable. Gabriela truly went out of her way, and beyond, what I have ever experienced from a travel advisor. All my future trips to South America will be planned because of Gabriela and through her as well. Visiting the Galápagos islands aboard the Bonita yacht was the best decision I could have made while visiting Ecuador. It was an incredible experience that I will be thinking about until I am able to come back again. I want to thank my wonderful agent Anthony for his help in booking. He is very knowledgeable and ensured that the planning process was a breeze. Anthony checked in with us every step of the way to make sure that we were prepared and comfortable throughout the whole trip. I also want to thank the wonderful crew: Cris, Diana, Cap. Joffre, Diego, Carlos, Marcos, Marcelo, Jairo, Chef Homar, and Chef Danny. Without them, the trip would not have been as amazing and unforgettable as it was. Cris was an awesome, patient, and fun guide that explained the history and fun facts of the island very well! Chef Homar and Chef Danny cooked all our delicious meals and Chef Homar even shared with us a lesson in salsa dancing! Diana made sure that everyone was taken care of and the rest of the crew made sure that everything was smooth sailing! I can tell that this crew is really close and that they enjoy working together! I cannot recommend this experience enough, from the blue footed boobies, to the giant tortoises, to swimming with the hammerhead sharks! Without them, the trip would not have been as fun and memorable. The crew is a well oiled machine and their love for their work and their country is very evident. This was easily one of the most fun trips we have had the pleasure of experiencing and will never be able to stop recommending this to friends and family. The Bonita is a well traveled vessel and it was a pleasure to experience the wonders of the Galapagos aboard with such a strong and connected crew. I was a sailor for a few years and never got to cross the equator. Becoming a shellback aboard the Bonita is one of the best experiences of my life. I missed seeing the stars from a boat. Being able to sit out and star gaze each night was one of the highlights of this adventure. We agree with Chris when he says this tour is one of the best offered. From sunrise to sunset we had an exciting and action packed day. While we were constantly on the go, it never felt like too much. Seeing these wonders and all the marvelous animals leaves us with no words. We are forever grateful for the guide and panga operators for making sure we saw everything. We are so thankful for everyone’s help to make this trip so successful. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! We can’t wait to come back and experience more with you.
