Highly recommend Resurrection Bay Sailing for a wonderful experience with your family. The captain and crew were so kind to the kids in the group, ensuring they were safe but had lots of fun. Just the right snacks were provided to all. We adults had a completely enjoyable time. We would do it again with our out-of-state visitors or even just us! Great fun even on a cloudy day in Seward.

Our 5 day trip on Madrona was spectacular! We were very lucky with the weather, and saw Orcas, Humpbacks, Seals and Sea Lions, two kinds of Puffins, lots of Sea Otters and …. And ….. The mountains and glaciers were amazing and for 4 nights in Aialik Bay we were the only boats in our anchorage. Kate and Nate are great—very responsive and remedied the problems with Madrona before we left, making the boat quite safe and functional. I highly recommend Resurrection Bay sailing.

We had such a fantastic trip with our all-female crew and my husband (who grew up sailing on the East Coast) has still not stopped raving about it! From my 76-year-old mom to my almost 2-year-old son, a great time was had by all and memories were made to last a lifetime. One thing that was really special to me was how proactive the crew was about taking photos for us, especially of my husband piloting the boat, as my hands were full with the toddler. ;) We never even had to ask, and they were out snapping photos for us, allowing us to just enjoy the moment. We've already recommended Rez Bay Sailing to a number of folks, and are looking forward to our next trip someday! :) Thanks again, Ladies!!!

We had a great time! The weather and wind didn’t really cooperate with our plans but it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful outing.

Nate and Kate are absolutely excellent hosts who are fun to talk to and have loads of experience and wisdom to offer. I really appreciate that they have created this opportunity to rent boats in Seward, Alaska. We had some spicy conditions; 22 knot winds in heavy rain with rough seas and Encore was a champ, keeping us safe and getting us to our destination. The two of us were comfortable aboard. Nate and Kate have created a wonderful opportunity for more people to get in to the world of sailing at a reasonable price. I wish them the best of luck with their business and hope it continues to grow and I plan on being a repeat customer.
