I cannot recommend this tour enough. Everything was so amazing. They picked us up from the town we were staying in and took us to three very unique places to experience the wine in the Rioja region. It was well curated and thought out. Our guide Fito was knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions. If you are coming to Rioja as a first time visitor or even if you've been before I would suggest taking this tour.

Rebeca helped us organize a custom trip including three full day wine tours, two food tours, a bike trip, and private transportation between hotels in La Rioja and San Sebastian. The logistics went smoothly and the guides were all fantastic. I highly recommend working with Rebeca if you are looking for a local travel specialist to help you plan a unique trip.

We did a self-guided, but arranged for us, bike tour from Logrono to Laguardia. The route back included a very nice section of pathways through vineyards. We were able to take a very good tour of a winery inside the walls of Laguardia, and the second winery with tasting was very hipster. The winery in Laguardia provided lots of insights into the functioning of the wine industry and changes over time in the Rioja region. The bikes were middling quality and that sucked up some energy, particularly on a hot day. We were also able to fit in Riscal on our own, and got a good view of Ysios.

We did the full-day wine tour and had a wonderful time. It was one of the priciest days of our trip, however it was absolutely worthwhile and I am glad we did it. Our guide Fito has worked in wine in many roles and grew up in Rioja, so he knew the region inside and out, plus knows the world of wine, not just Rioja. We had a detailed tour from a multi-generational producer, and a multi-cave tour with a winery that still produces some wine traditionally with feet and a press. The farmhouse lunch was delicious, serving traditional Riojan food, from the middle of vineyards with beautiful views. The example vineyard showing all 16 varietals that can grow in Rioja was really neat. There's also a blind tasting and a nice surprize at the end from Rebeca and Robert, the hosts. Additionally, I really appreciated all the time Rebeca took to answer a myriad of questions that I had regarding our bookings. She was very helpful while I tried to figure out our itineraries and fit everything in.

We had a great wine tour. The first stop was a small family winery, then a slightly larger winery but with a very different production style then lunch with more wine tasting. Including a blind tasting to challenge our palette and knowledge. Would highly recommend.
