Our three days at La Bufadora Inn were nothing short of wonderful: a spacious, clean room with well-funished kitchen at a stellar location just above the shoreline and a small blow hole. It offers fantastic views of the sunset, sea lions trumpeting on nearby a small island, large flocks of shorebirds combing the tidal flats, an abundance of brown pelicans and owner Shari's sweet/gentle pups. The village of a few thousand residents, mostly commercial fishing families, is pleasant and generally welcoming to the few visitors who make it too this remote location more than 50 miles from the nearest town. An ideal and affordable place for a quiet, relaxing oceanside getaway.
