What an incredible experience. I went on Soulo's San Sebastian trip and was blown away! Alysha has curated the best of best experiences for full cultural immersion and an off the beaten path experience. I am a big traveler and this by far was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was the perfect mix of history, food, wine, the beach and making new friends! I think we've all booked terrible travel experiences where you're on a tour eating at some subpar restaurant that only caters to tourists and then stopping at some cheap gift shop for 30 min. This was completely opposite. We had the best meals, including a dinner at a private Basque Gastronomic Society, a Michelin star restaurant, a private dinner in a vineyard, and bar hopping/eating pintxos with the locals. We had invitations to local cheese farms, wineries, and even someone's house to get a master class in wine and to learn about the underground corridors/cellars in Laguardia. Experiences that I could have never found on my own. There is nothing touristy about this experience. Alysha takes the time to visit each location multiple times to ensure her guests are having the best experiences available. She also partners with local guides who feel like old friends. Everything is catered to the group and there is plenty of free time to explore on your own as well. I cannot recommend traveling with SOUL/O enough!
