We had a great dive trip. The resort was comfortable and clean, fantastic hammocks for a quick snooze, great food, and awesome karaoke! Highly recommend the SDI led Cayman Brac trip to everyone. <h3>ROATAN SCUBA DIVING AND SNORKELING</h3>
Roatan and its world-renowned scuba diving attracted more than a million visitors last year. As far as Roatan resorts go, Turquoise Bay is the only dive resort in this lush and remote area of the island providing scuba divers and snorkelers with the opportunity to dive and snorkel uncrowded pristine sites. The North side of Roatan offers scuba divers and snorkelers the unique opportunity to experience the largest variety of reef topography on the island. Roatan, in the Bay Islands of Honduras, is surrounded by the world’s second-largest barrier reef that is one of the healthiest in the Caribbean due to the Roatan Marine Park and the local dive community encouraging conservative diving practices. Explore sloping plateaus perfect for spotting macro life, sheer walls with large soft corals and barrel sponges, wreck dives abundant with life, crevices, trenches, overhangs and cavern systems such as our two most popular dive sites Underground and Dolphin’s Den. 
All of our scuba diving lessons and instructors are PADI qualified for your peace of mind. 
Roatan’s water temperature ranges from 78 – 84 F with visibility consistent between 60-100 feet
<h3>ABOUT SUBWAY WATERSPORTS</h3>
Our on-site Dive Center is operated by Subway Watersports. They are an elite PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and National Geographic Dive Center. Subway Watersports opened for business in April 2001 and soon became well known for its quality and personal service. Our location at Turquoise Bay opened in March 2006. We offer valet diving, take out small groups of 6-12 divers per boat and a PADI Divemaster guides all dives. Experienced Scuba Instructors offer PADI scuba diving lessons from beginner to Instructor in private classes. In addition to diving, we offer snorkel trips, fishing and day trips to the neighboring Bay Islands.

<h3>SCHEDULE</h3>
Subway Watersports is open 7 days a week. Our dive and snorkel boats leave daily at 8:45 am, 10:45 am and 2 pm. We offer one night boat dive per week (more on request). We scuba dive and snorkel mainly on the north shore of Roatan in the area between Sandy Bay and Punta Gorda. Our dive sites are close by so we come back to the dive shop for our surface intervals. When we go to some of the further dive sites we do a two-tank dive in the morning and one tank in the afternoon. We are the only dive operator diving on this part of Roatan which means you will not see other scuba divers during your dive and have private unspoiled dive sites.
All-Inclusive dive packages include three boat dives per day. Should the sea conditions not allow us to dive on the Roatan North shore we will take our guests by bus to an alternate location on the South side of Roatan. When diving on the South side we are able to do two boat dives per day instead of three. This scenario may happen between December and March because of strong Northerly wind

<a target='_blank' href="https://www.habitatbonaire.com/" target="_blank">Captain Don’s Habitat</a> Dive Operation is a PADI Resort and an SDI 5 Star Professional Development Center. It is centrally located within the resort complex for easy access from all rooms. We have three 1-tank boat departures daily, at 8.30 AM, 11 AM and 2 PM, to over 50 moored sights on our custom-built dive boats. Each mooring buoy is limited to 1 boat so you’ll have the reef all to yourself. Diving Rates are priced per person per day unless otherwise noted.
 
Total Diving Freedom has always been the concept at Captain Don’s Habitat. Over 50 world-class dives are within a 15-minute boat ride. Diving Freedom means 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with no rush or anxiety. Take a giant stride off our divers-only pier “baby dock” and you’re already looking at clusters of starlet coral, surrounded by colorful wrasse and gobies, and the drop-off starts in 30 feet, only a few kicks away. Shore diving is a must at Captain Don’s Habitat and around the island of Bonaire rated as the top shore diving destination in the world! Following accepted safe diving practices, you can grab a tank and go….whenever you want!
 
All diving begins after the mandatory dive briefing on Sunday, the day after arrival. The dive briefing begins at 9 am. You will then do an initial shore dive from "baby dock" on the house reef. &nbsp;The first dive day, Sunday includes the 11:30 and 2:00 boat dives only.
