This was a great opportunity to spend time together as a family in a lovely place. The staff was all off-the-charts good and it was a pleasure to be in a group with other neat participants. Challenging rides with great support. And no place I’d rather go riding.

The experience provided by Cyclist’s Menu is much more than just riding your bike up at least two scenic and challenging Category 1 climbs and one Beyond Category climb. It’s the overall warmth and welcoming nature of these people that transports you to a different world. They are so friendly! They really do make you feel like family. The guides were great and very supportive helping us to stay on the route, making an extra trip to the bike shop for a new helmet or pedals. The road surfaces were also very good for the most part. But the time off the bike was more enjoyable for me. Before dinner gatherings sipping delicious local wines and reviewing the day’s ride, the delicious dinners prepared with great passion and care by chef Xander and served open air in the cozy garden of La Subida. The wine tastings with local experts and the fabulous dinner at the nearby Michelin ⭐️ restaurant were really enjoyable. I also loved the relaxed schedule in the mornings to have a leisurely full breakfast with plenty of time after to get ready to ride. I didn’t want this trip to end. I will remember it forever.

We enjoyed everything about this trip. It exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend TCM and, especially, the Friuli experience.

Great cycling/food/culture trip. Who knew the vines and good road riding roads go hand in hand? The right balance of riding, things to do and unstructured time, loved it.

It is really hard to summarize a wonderful week. From the moment I booked the trip, Heidi was very helpful with a training plan. She asked all the right questions so that I have my bike ready for the Mendocino gravel. I felt very welcomed upon arrival. It was joy to meet the other riders. The routes were well thought out and challenging. The guides encouraged us while allowing everyone to select the best route options to make every day great. The dinners were amazing. I'm definitely planning on doing another trip with the cyclist's menu. I really appreciate the chance to support a small family run business.
